Hiya! I have loved your cambric creek stories for years. And stand by the fact that MGMF is the only novel that has blown up on tiktok that I have truly enjoyed. Whilst I own a digital copy of MGMF all of your other stories I access through KU because my library doesn't purchase them
I am beyond sick of Amazon's bs however and am looking to buy any stories I don't own but love and then cancelling my membership.
I know I can purchase physical copies of your books on Amazon but I was wondering if that was the best way to ensure you get the most profits? Or is there a better way to purchase physical copies of your books?
Also I am halfway through HLMN and am loving iiiiiit. I think it is my second favourite of the cambric Creek stories 💕💕💕💕💕

Physical copies of (most of) my books are available wherever books are sold. However, the only way to get the special editions (and the books not widely available) is through my storefront. We are currently closed for my spring signing events, but make sure you subscribe (which you can do from the link in my bio) to my newsletter for notification on when we reopen!
Ebooks: beginning this year, I will be offering direct ebooks on all new releases. Meaning you will be able to get books directly from me BEFORE they go to KU. Existing books - once we have the platform up and running, I'll be offering the back catalog direct one-at-a-time.
And if I may - I understand and appreciate the frustration with Amazon. Authors feel it as well. But, and I never enjoy defending billion dollar companies, but it must be said, most of your favorite indie authors would not have careers without Amazon. I have traditionally published friends who are New York Times Best Sellers who still make the majority of their income on Amazon. Most of us make more money on Amazon than we do on any other platform, for both ebooks and physical copies.
The absolute best way to support authors is to buy direct whenever you can. It cuts out the middleman of both Amazon AND IngramSpark (who could easily be the topic of a completely separate essay, because I can complain about IS for days.)
When you can't buy directly from the author, support indie bookshops, particularly indie bookshops who carry indie books.
Most importantly, buy books however you want in a way that makes you feel slightly less culpable and this capitalistic hellscape.
If you are reading HLMN, you probably already know how I feel about the loss of small businesses to large conglomerates. There is no conscientious consumerism under capitalism. We're all just doing the best we can with what we have, and if that means you read through KU, the library, or from Barnes and Noble, no author is going to scold you.
As long as you're not pirating, most of us are just happy to have you as a reader!
