CROCODILES SURROUNDING ME - My Dream Blog
Crocodiles surrounding me
My Dream Blog
I had a dream last night that Matthew, Sharon and I were going to the Madonna concert. Sharon did my hair and even though it was the colour I had it (which I liked), Sharon actually did my hair really well. I looked in the mirror and I liked it. I was however paranoid about my nails, my nails hadnât been manicured or painted and they looked bad and I said that I needed to do my nails because I didnât want to attend a special event with my nails looking like this.
My dream skipped the concert and suddenly I was at this place and I was between two towns. I was walking around trying to work out where I was but they didnât look familiar to me. I found a swing that was hanging on a tree and I started to swing on it, my hair still looked good and I looked okay and I was no longer paranoid about my nails. I was swinging on this beautiful swing in peace and I was completely content. There were men standing around admiring me however I didnât take particular notice of them, I was in my own world. Sharon was there and a few other familiar faces and a few other men. Some of these men were making snide comments about me and there were others who joined in who were also making nit-picking criticisms about me. Regardless of what they were saying about me and all their cruelties towards me, I didnât care as I was happy. Around me was also these crocodiles and even though others found them dangerous I didnât particular fear them. It was like the people could say anything negative about me and I had dangerous animals around me, but I was swinging on this swing happy and at peace and I knew nothing they said or could do to me could harm me. Because of this, some of the humans became resentful towards me because nothing they said was going to impact on me and they were annoyed at me because of this. Afterwards I was inside the house with some of these people, some of them were kind to me and others not so. I was planning to leave but wasnât sure how much money I had, I looked in my purse and I had all these $50 notes, so many that I wasnât able to count them all. I didnât want the untrustworthy people to see how much money I had â however they did and they became even more resentful towards me and criticised me more (even making up lies about me). They were so cruel but I was happy and nothing they said about me at this point could have any impact on me.Â
Boats â Cruise Ship â Friend â Trying to get back to shore - I had a dream last night that I was on this ship/cruise liner â and it was leaving and I didnât want to be on it. My friend was on it with me and all these other people. I was desperately trying to get off and trying to get the ship to stop and go back so I could get off it. When it didnât I tried flying off and when that failed I started swimming to go back to shore.
MEANING.. a boat see points to forthcoming change in the life whose exit seems a little bit unsafe. It should bring us certainly to the shore where a new life laughs - to us really or emotionally. on water: your enterprise brings to you luck and blessing, Leaves: your secret longing comes true. If you are a passenger on a ferry or other boat, you probably donât feel you can control what happens. Anytime you dream you are on a boat you are trying to move through an emotional situation, either a current one or one from the past. If you are in a small boat and cannot get to shore, you are feeling out of control with regard to an emotional issue in your daily life.
STALKERS
Creepy guys that follow you (library)
I was at the library and this guy started following me around the library and it totally creeped me out. He started following me around the book shelves, wherever I went, he followed and would stand right next to me. He attempted to talk to me and I just walked away.
I donât think this guy was in the library for the books.
I decided to sit down for a while and wait for him to get bored of me and leave. However, when I was sitting in the chair, he stood behind a book shelf and was looking through a gap in the books just to look at me, and he did this for quite some time.
When he did this, I thought âfuck itâ and left.
When I walked out of the library feeling relieved that I was away from him, he was standing near the toilets near the library â and was just watching me.
Heâll probably hang around the library to creep on some more women.
I canât stand creepy guys. Thereâs so many weirdos around!
CROCODILE DUNDEE (1986)
Australiaâs most famous movie and was well-known in America. Paul Hogan made a fortune and married the lead actress. He made a sequel, based in Los Angeles, wasnât bad. He moved to America and didnât make any good movies after that. He was at his best when he was in Australia. I think heâs moved back to Australia.

BIG BROTHER
Big Brother was a hit in Britain before Australia had itâs own Big Brother. Matthew my friend was living/staying in Europe at the time, so he started watching the British one and he told me Big Brother was just people shagging and that sort of thing. Then Big Brother started in Australia in 2001 and it was a huge hit. The first few seasons were the best. The first had Sara-Marie, she was a dag who would spend all her time in her pyjamas and doing a dance and hitting herself on the bum all the time. Nice guy Ben won, deservingly so because he was a nice person. The best season had Reggie, she was married, worked in a Chip and Fish shop and was a workaholic, she won and left her husband and someone ripped her off all the money she won. She later won Big Brother again when she went in as one of the Originals.
Big Brother got ruined, because they changed the format, they turned it into Survivor and then they put all these Instagram people in â they probably look good in photos, but boring to watch on screen. They had no personality and if you are going to have people on Big Brother they have to have personality. Big Brother came to an end.
Thankfully, Channel 10 got BB back where it originally had been and they brought back the original format in 2025. So Big Brother is back and happening!

TOM HANKS
Tom Hanks, great actor. I had first seen him in Splash and my favourite movie of his was The Burbs. He went on to star in a lot of dramas, bios, and your typical Academy Award winning movies. I liked him in his earlier films, rather than all these âtake me seriouslyâ films. I liked him when he was young and having fun and in comedies.
Iâve noticed the public on social media hating on him a fair bit lately. I donât know why. I think they hate on everyone. Itâs like cancel culture has become âcancel everyoneâ. Cancel Culture is turning into Bullying Culture â they hate for assumptions.
Iâm not going to hate Tom Hanks â so take that Haters!

GHOST (1990)
GHOST stars Patrick Swayze, Demi Moore, and Whoopi Goldberg. Itâs a checks flick and a comedy. Swayzeâs character gets murdered and comes back as a ghost. It was hugely popular, even years after it was released. Most people remember it today for that clay scene. My friends and I went to Sydney to watch it at the movies. I was nearly crying but had to hold back my tears by thinking of other things. Whoopi was great in this, she was the funniest in this movie. Itâs not a movie I would watch again. But itâs a popular movie and will remain popular after we all die.

The Hitman AB LOGIC This song was released in 1992. Dance/Techno music was all the rage during the 1990s â techno had just become a thing and it was hugely popular. It led to better dance/techno music being made in the 2000s. In the 1990s, dance music was being released constantly â it sold and it made a lot of money, so music companies were just pumping out anything everything. One of the dance music artists in the â90s was AB LOGIC from Belgium. They released a dance song about a Hitman, check out the music video! The â90s got a bit crazy. They also had a song titled âAB Logicâ. They were one hit wonders (or two hit wonders). I didnât mind their songs.

HOME AND AWAY
I started watching Home and Away when it first started in 1988. It was a huge hit when it first started, I and my friends all loved it. But we were teenagers, and this program appealed to teenagers. Kate Richie has been in it since she was a kid, is she still on it? I donât know. Bobby (Nicole Dickson) was a rebel when she first joined the show, but of course she was just âmisunderstoodâ and turned into a good person and then married Alex Papps. When she died she came out of a fridge door. Luke was good looking. Shane was stubborn. I felt sorry for Nick. Lance and Martin were great characters.
Home and Away had the most bizarre story lines.
My mum hated Carly, she said all she did was cry and was always miserable.
Carly had a twin sister who was evil, it was played by the same actress.
There was also a stalker about, he would just hide behind a tree or shrub or something, and spy on the house. It was just a cameraman standing behind a branch.
I stopped watching this after Dieter Brummer died (Shane). It wasnât because I was a huge fan of Shane and I couldnât watch it without him.
Autumn and I were in Kmart one day and we saw magazines, and on one was Home and Away, we started talking about Home and Away and how we donât watch it anymore. Autumn asked, âWhy did we stop watching it?â I guess we matured I guess.

ONE OF US
Asne Seierstad
I just finished reading this book on Anders Breivik and the Norway Massacre. When I picked up this book, I had little knowledge of the details involved. I recognized his face, blonde guy with blue eyes - from media reports at the time. I picked this book up on a whim.
The beginning of this book is rather dull, about his childhood. When he became a teenager/young man he was into graffiti tagging, wanting to be the best there is - he was a bit of an idiot.
As an adult he sold illegal certificates online. He then got into the Freemasons. Then he played World of Warcraft for 2 years in his 'fart room' and did nothing else with his life.
Then he became fixated by the destruction of Norway culture, due to the immigration, muslims, communism, feminism and all of that. he started reading ppls views online. He attempted to communicate with other like minded people who weren't interested in communicating with him. There's no explanation why.
He started planning the Norway massacre and wrote his manefesto, as well as his prep. He bombed a government building and then went to an island to kill a bunch of young lefties. He killed 77 people all up. He believed if he did this, others would follow.
He believed this was stop immigration - it didn't. He thought he'll become a hero - he didn't. He hates being in prison - he should have thought about that in the first place. He hates having his freedom and his free-will taken away in prison - then he shouldn't have committed a crime.
He was a bit of a dick.
The parts regarding the victims lives in this book, was a tad boring.
The parts of the planning and the incident itself was the most interesting part of this book.
There was a lot in this book that didn't need to be there. It's a rather lengthy book. But overall it was interesting.
SOUTH PARK
South Park came out in 1997 and it was a huge hit. I was a fan, like many others. I just remember there was so much South Park merchandise in shops at the time. I still have my South Park glass.
I loved Cartman, spoilt brat, but so funny.
Isaac Hayes was the voice actor for Chef. Chef was another fantastic character. He quit after the Scientology episode, it touched a nerve. Scientologists are such snowflakes. But what they said about Scientology was true though. That is what they believe. Crazy shit!
Kenny died in every episode that got old after a while.
The South Park movie was a huge let down, it wasnât funny and made people fall asleep.
Is South Park still on TV? I havenât seen it on TV in years â it must be on one of those pay television channels â which is probably why I havenât watched it in a long time. Shame. If it was on free TV I would be watching it.
South Park, great program â clever.

CHRISTIAN SLATER
Christian Slater was in the film Heathers (1988), one of his most famous roles. I loved his character in that movie. Not the crazy serial killer side of him, I just loved that scene in the movie where he is sitting by himself, alone, and he is confident enough to be alone, and doesnât give a fuck about the popular kids and all the âbullshitâ that comes with it. Slater has the best voice and coolest look.
He also appeared in Robin Hood alongside Kevin Costner. He was a hugely popular in the late 1980s and early 1990s, people likened him to being the next Jack Nicholson.
I liked that movie He Was a Quiet Man (2007), he played a crazy in that as well. But he does it so well. Good movie.
Christian Slater â great actor.

ISSEY MIYAKE (1992)
My two favourite perfumes in the 1990s were Obsession by Calvin Klein and Issey Miyake. They are still my favourite perfumes. In the 1990s they were both pretty pricey, but today, Obsession is a lot cheaper than it used to be. Issey Miyake still has a bit of a price tag.

TWIN PEAKS
Twin Peaks is one of my favourite TV series. The original series only had 2 seasons, thankfully, quality is better than quantity. I prefer TV series that end sooner than later, thereâs nothing worse than a series being dragged out for too long. It ruins the series.
I liked the soundtrack and I also had Laura Palmerâs diary.
I went to Sydney to an arty farty cinema to watch the film Twin Peaks: Fire Walk With Me, when it was first released â as our local cinemas wouldnât screen it.
David Lynch released a new series, which I patiently waited 25 years to see. The first episode, wow, it was brilliant and blew me away. The rest of the season dragged on way too long â Lynch should have edited half of it out. The last episode with Cooper and âLaura Palmerâ outsider her home â OMG â what happened and what year is it?
Lynch loved mystery, with twist and turns â his work is like a puzzle.
My friend liked Bobby, but I liked James Hurley and I also liked Detective Dale Cooper, he was one of the sexist men at the time â everyone had a crush on him, including me. Kyle MacLachlan, a very handsome man.

FOOLISH GAMES
JEWEL (song 1997)
This is a love song from the 1990s. It was one of my favourite romance songs. Jewel had one hit album and also released a book of poetry. My mum worked with this lady who also liked this song, so she bought the album. She hated it because there were swear words on it.

THE LOST BOYS
1987
My favourite movie of all-time, especially as a teenager and young adult. I would watch this film constantly, nearly daily â I was obsessed.
I would watch it after school when I came home, one day I was watching it and my stepbrotherâs pregnant wife went into labour. She always said afterwards, she will always remember going into labour because The Lost Boys was on. I wonder if their son likes The Lost Boys ?
I love vampires, vampires were good back in those days. The mullets didnât do it for me, but it was the 1980s. Loved the 2 Coreyâs. The soundtrack was one of the best soundtracks of all time.
The Lost Boys â great movie!
