I have for you today a sand default, pond bottom default, and a pond overlay. I made these for myself and figured I'd share. I wanted a beach sand that more closely matched the vibe of Michigan and Ohio beaches with all the shells and rocks. :-) I made the pond bottom rocky since I'm making a swim-able quarry in Haddock Bay, aaand needed an overlay to tie everything together. Happy summerrrr! πβ¨
This is a default for the 'hood / lot sand.
I used two of @foxtronaute's terrain paints together.
You can use it with any default 'hood terrain you have, just remove the sand package that comes with your default first.
I used @criquette-was-here's guide for removing 'hood sand in my 'hoods, but keep in mind that the sand will still be present if you're in lot view by the water.
I defaulted on @simsantoinc's default.
I used a small stones terrain paint from @foxtronaute's terrain paints.
the pond overlay is jon119's mesh and @pforestsims pond tint. All I did was lower the tint's opacity a little bit and slap it on the mesh because it was bigger. I needed the overlay to cover a larger area for my quarry! :-)
There are two meshes, a small and a large, and you can find them both in plumbing > misc.
π§ΈπΊ Following a request from anon, here are the remaining objects from atticwindowatdawn's Wistful Spaces set (11 objects). Decat previously converted part of the set here β and I completed what was left, namely the TV, the surfaces, one seating box and a lovely Teddy.
You can find the original Sims 4 set here, by atticwindowatdawn. A collection file is included in the download for convenience; if you have Decatβs items in your game, they should be included as well. Itβs also low poly (on the higher end) and basegame compatible (YMMV with the TV).
Full object list and extra previews are waiting under the cut β
π§Έ Atticwindowatdawn's items are very detailed in general and a big challenge for polycount reduction while keeping the object intact, which is why it took me so much time! For example, the TV went from 10,000 to 2,500 polygons... It's still low poly, but a bit higher than standard. πΊπ
Most surfaces have lots of slots! I joined a picture to show all the possibilities.
π¦ I redid two of Decat items! First, the Forgotten Laundry, because I wanted a version of the basket with nothing in it. It's repo'd and has 1 slot. The other is the Dish It Out Bucket, because there was some light reflection problem when placed outdoors. They don't replace Decat's item, so you can choose which you prefer !
The Artist's Dresser has 2 versions, one is purely deco and one is a functioning dresser π¨ You can have both in your game, or the one you prefer, as they are not repo'd.
I managed to make some groundshadow for all objects! Bit of fiddling around but I'm getting much better at mapping.
You do need a copy of LordCrumpβs Shadow Files for the shadows to work though, but I have included a copy in the zip, as always!
π₯ͺπ§ My creations would be always absolutely free, but in case if you wanna to thank me, you can do itΒ here on Ko-fi! Iβll be very grateful and pleased π₯° These donations are optional! π₯ͺπ§
You can find the original Sims 4 set here, by HYDRA. A collection file is included in the download for convenience. Itβs also low poly and basegame compatible (I think the shelves needs OFB, but would work basegame if you change the category).
Full object list and extra previews are waiting under the cut β
Onto the details π
The Armchair and the Sofa are repo'd to the Loveseat. These have dual subsets so you can mix and match. I added 10 solid colors for the fabric subset for more variety! I noticed the shadow on the loveseat fabric doesn't align with the frame. This comes from the original object. I'll update the file if it gets fixed.
The End Table is repo'd to the Hallway Table π I converted the Watercan, but had to drop the plant version. As much as I tried, it just didn't look good in game and the polycount didn't justify it either.
Aside from that, I cleaned up the texture of the stickers and the rugs, to make the edges all smooth and remove as much of the white-ish outline, specks and artifacts as I could π¦ You can see what it looks like below, I added pictures to showcase the result!
You do need a copy of LordCrumpβs Shadow Files for the shadows to work though, but I have included a copy in the zip, as always!
All items found under βBuy Mode β Collections β HYDRA Ivy Livin' Roomβ (included .collection file)
You can see the edge cleanup here. There's close to no white outlines or speckles left! Some of the thinnest details like the small leaves were harder to clean perfectly, but I got them as close as I could ππ

Let's celebrate 400 followers with a small grab bag of items! π!
Tbh, it's mostly a spring cleaning of my project folder π Here are 6 items to spice up your Sims 2 game that weren't part of any set: a functional toaster, a functional computer, a bird papercraft, an office chair, a seagull mobile and a tapestry with 100 swatches!
The original Brave Little Toaster That Could is found here, by SurelySims, the papercraft Super Birds here, by LamaLama, the Seagull Mobile here, by Simdertalia, the Indigo Chair Office here, by NoStyle x w o o d l a n d, the Ye Old Tapestry is here, by Lunamoth and the iMac G3 is here, by AroundTheSims4.
Everything is low poly and basegame compatible. The iMac includes both a FreeTime and a basegame version. A collection file is included in the download for convenience.
Full object list and extra previews are waiting under the cut β
Here are some notes on each item π§Ήπ¦
You first have the Ye Old Tapestry which has 100 swatches β¨ I included the original gif with all the designs in the zip so you can check them out. The mesh is a Sims 4 Vampires EP mesh that was already converted, but since there are so many swatches, I thought it was better to have it as a separate download.
The Indigo Office Chair was very high poly originally, and I managed to reduce it quite a bit.
The iMac is a functional computer with an animated mouse! There's a Free Time version and a basegame version included, please only pick one β οΈ
The functional Kitchen of Tomorrow Toaster was already converted before as a deco item, but I made it functional ππ« by cloning @jacky93sims' Bree Toaster. It's a new object, so there should be no conflict with other deco versions. It has an invisible swatch for the bread if you want them out of the picture. If you don't have her original toaster, you need to keep the recipe file (included) in your download folder for it to workβΌοΈ
You do need a copy of LordCrumpβs Shadow Files for the shadows to work though, but I have included a copy in the zip, as always.
That's it! Enjoy the haul ποΈβ¨

Hello !! Itβs 1:00 where I am but Iβm wide awake soβ¦whatever I guess lol.Β
My last post was pretty depressing and it got worse for me mentally sadly. Iβm feeling better luckily and always remembering that my soul and well being is all Iβll have especially when Iβm alone, and I need to take care of it.
Therapy has been pretty helpful as I enjoy talking with my therapist, both the good and bad.
I donβt want to talk too much about my mental health as this is a CC download post haha. Consider this as an βIβm backβ post I suppose and come with some goodies. These hairs have been done for some time but Iβm sharing them as defaults too.
The hairs Iβve converted are;Β
Simstroubleβs Bellaflore V1, Casey, Luanne Bun, Loredana, and Bedelia bun with beads
Bedelia bun was an older hair I converted at least a year ago. So I decided to redo it and added the child age stage, and is in EA colors so it's easier to recolor !!
Orchionaβs Malaysia hair
Then which hair is defaulting a basegame hair is;
Acorntuck - Casey (CF-EF)
Barrette - Bellaflore V1 (CF-EF)
BowlTwist - Luanne Bun (TF-EF)
Braids- Loredana (the hidden one but itβs unhidden in the catalog) (CF-EF)
Malaysia - Rosettes (CF-EF)
I hope you enjoy these hairs and please let me know if thereβs any issues !!
Here it isβ¦ Part III! πβ¨ You can now enjoy TheClutterCat's entire Pizza Party set !
It took a while because I was intimidated by the two Pergola Swing Chairs, breezed through them... and then somehow spent all my time on the Wooden Wine Rack/Bottle/Module. Story of my life. But who cares! Whole set it done!
Grab some pizza, pour some wine, and 14 new items for your Sims 2 game π·π₯
Pizza Party III set is made by TheClutterCat ( original found here!). You can get Pizza Party I here (by me), here and here (by Jacky93Sims). Pizza Party II is here. A collection file is included in the download for convenience. Itβs also low poly and basegame compatible.
Full object list and extra previews are waiting under the cut β
I couldn't repo the Pergola Swing Benches together because the texture didn't match, but the Cushions are repo'd to the Loveseat. There is also an extra set of cushions that turned out to use the exact same mesh as my Forest Friends Floor Cushions π (here), so I added recolors to that existing mesh rather than duplicating it. The mesh is included if you don't have it.
The Fire Bowl took me a while to figure out. Without getting too technical, I didn't want to clone the Maxis campfire because its a really heavy object with a lot of resources attached to it, and I wanted to keep things lighter. I tried to turn it into a fireplace first, then I went with Jacky93Sims' way and cloned Honeywell's one π₯π₯ I replaced her skewer fork with the game's wooden stick. You need to keep that file in your download folded to roast marshmallows. If you also uses the skewer for other Firepits, there should be no conflict. Credit to both Jacky and Honeywell.
I cloned the lamp from the Grange Mudroom set by LordCrumps, so credits to him as well.
You do need a copy of LordCrumpβs Shadow Files for the shadows to work though, but I have included a copy in the zip, as always.
