An actual artifical intelligence, she gets more of a unique personality the more Grace speaks with her. She can't pilot the ship, she's not built for that but she can access all the info Stratt uploaded and convey information and read information, and speaks to him, she responds to him somewhat in the book/movie but lets make it more.

One of my biggest fears is being accused of using AI to write after finally posting after years- which is is so silly but I think it’s my anxiety? But also I care so much about my writing that the idea someone would think I didn’t spend 5 hours crying over a sentence upsets me; but then I worry defending myself to much or being worried somehow plays into maybe I am - It's a never ending cycle of anxiety.

Meanwhile; I’ve written well over a couple million words, full length books, entire built universes for my husband and it’s all just for him and only him. We met on a roleplay forum.

So it’s silly because I realize I write for myself because I come from a time where fandom was for writing for yourself.

It'll always be about writing for yourself for me, I post because I'm proud not because I want clout or something?? I like my stories but I've posted things that have gotten no views or comments and been okay because I just like having it out there.

You can dislike a ship, a cannon or fannon ship, that has been the case forever. But actively going out of your way to trash talk a group unless they are actively harming someone or doing active harm, is some petty behavior. I've been on tumblr since 2010, I was here when SuperWhoLock was born, when Homestuck was being written, and Teen Wolf queerbaited its fans hard- I was here for the ballpit being born. I met my husband of 12 years on a roleplay forum on tumblr.

Crossover, Fandom ships, crackships- they have been here since fandom was a thing. They are part of fandom culuture, and actively being cruel towards one part because you disagree is some pretty so sad behavior.

Also there's some edging towards racism on some(and I do mean SOME) of the hate towards Bloodymary and ya'll are outright gross for that.

Y'all are completely in you're free will to dislike, and actively not be for a ship even! Discourse is also a great part of the fandom, it's when it borders cruel and bullying that y'all need to sit down and think.

An ugly truth about the way people talk about fanfiction is yes there are in fact fanfiction authors who are better writers than many published authors. Maybe you cant bring yourself to believe their fanfiction is "as good," but the truth that there are extremely talented amateur writers out there going undiscovered every day is undeniable, and there are plenty of them where the only thing that separates them from published authors is that they lack opportunity. They have no publishing connections. Writing doesn't put food on the table. They cant quit their day job. Advances arent enough to sustain them but they are enough to get their benefits cut. They don't have the time. So some of them write fanfiction, and exclusively publish fanfiction, and thats what some of them will do for their entire lives.
