The Single Hop Project began as a way to educate people about hop varietals, as well as help me work through some design ideas and concepts.

I also wanted to encourage Modernism in the world of beer design - that certainly happened. Beer labels are now recognized as a venue where real art, not just branding, is welcome. I hope this project played some part in helping to assist that.

Thanks to everyone that bought prints over the years. I tried to keep them inexpensive, but of high quality, so that the ideas could proliferate. As a send off, I added a couple alternate colorways to the shop - variants that didn’t feel right back in 2013 but still seem interesting to me.

These images may come up again in different forms - but for this form of the Single Hop Project, this is the end and only the digital form will live on.
