I haven’t lived in the south for my whole life. Bearly two years that I can remember. But I can tell you this.

Weather you count central Florida’s as southern or not this place is haunted by its past. The trees weep and so do the people. The south is not a romantic place, the south hasn’t paid off its debt. Blood soaks the soil far deeper then any flowers roots. The blood of people who lived here before and were forced to live here after are spilling back into the lakes. This place is haunted by a past it cant move away from.
