you said to ask you about your last post so I will. I think the devil and demons KNOWS we are inherently good. so them, being fallen angels, knowing what they know, can and do try their best to take humans, made in the image of God, to hell, to spite God Himself, through means that give us what we want- instant and simple answers. Through this lens I also believe God will have mercy on those who tried to do their best and did good to others, those who were traumatized or led astray from the truth by demons. This is why Jesus, a sinless man, meaning He wasn't lying, said I am the Way, the Truth, and the Life. It also reminds me of this one quote, that everybody who enters into the Catholic church enters kicking and screaming because they know it's the truth, but they can't accept it. All judgements are up to God, I am simply led by His infinite love for us, if He called everyone who was already dead when He died to repentance, what can He not do for those led astray?
I think that they aren't real gods (obviously) but not exactly demons, they're fictional identifications and personifications of nature. Their personality is based purely on the attributes of what they represent, and it exists as a way for people to worship the creations of God rather than God Himself. It may be possible that there are demons also leading people to this, but it's a fiction/early science above all else.
