so i got a few asks to tell what i think of the album and each song :)
youngblood: this is a really deep song with a really good beat to it. i like it a lot.
want you back: this song kinda gave us a sneak peak of what the new sound of 5sos was gonna be and i was honestly surprised about it. if it plays i’ll listen, but i’m not going to go out of my way and choose it.
lie to me: ALRIGHT STRAIGHT BANGER HERE. luke’s vocals are really angelic you can tell what facial expression he’s doing when singing the notes. def one i’m gonna have on repeat.
valentine: LET ME JUST SAY CALUM’S VERSE HAS ME QUAKING. it shows that love should be everyday not just on specific day and i think thats amazing.
talk fast: THIS IS ONE OF MY FAVORITE SONGS HANDS DOWN. it has an AMAZING beat and luke and calum sound amazing first of all, second of all it just has a really good beat and i LOVE IT.
moving along: alright y’all. let’s just discuss ashton’s drumming. THAT SHIT IS A BANGER!!!! like wow that beat has me going. the lyrics, they are deep let’s be real but, well they’re a little odd but that doesn’t mean i don’t like it.
if walls could talk: when i hear this i sprint and dance hard core to this!!! this is also one of my favorites songs. and when calum sings “oh you’re a queen but uncronwed” I FELT THAT.
better man: this song is so sweet and cute you can tell who this is about when michael wrote it. the lyrics are so meaningful it really hits home for me. definitely a top one for me.
more: okay i wasn’t expecting this song to be as upbeat as it is!!! like i thought this was gonna be sad, boy was i wrong. it is a very deep song but it has such an upbeat tempo i’m living for it.
why won’t you love me: whoever hurt luke, i just wanna talk. i really love this song a lot. the intro took me by surprise and i just really enjoy luke’s voice.
woke up in japan: A TRUE BANGER LEMME TELL YA. THIS IS ONE OF MY FAVORITE SONGS. also luke what happened in room 304 ;)
empty wallets: so this is actually the first song i memorized which is cool. i get straight sugar daddy vibes, so if you see something coming that’s why. i love this song, the chorus has me going real hard.
ghost of you: again, whoever hurt luke i just wanna talk. luke sweetie i’m so sorry you felt this way, you deserve so much more than this.
monster among men: this song is honestly really good. i love that michael sings it because i haven’t heard him much but he really puts his best in it.
meet you there: this is a BOP AND A HALF Y’ALL. i really like the sound to it. it is on my top faves.
babylon: BITCH. THINGS CALUM DID: THAT. THAT IS ALL I CAN SAY. CALUM SNAPPED AND HOLY SHIT IT IS ON MY FAVORITES BECAUSE HELLO
