watched tadc episodes 7-8!
sorry i didn't make a post about them earlier, they were just a LOT to take in.
i feel like these episodes confirm to me that caine is either evil or REALLLLLYYY fucked up. still kinda switching between the two. initially i thought "no yeah he's just evil" at the end of episode 7 but i think 8 made me think it's not so black and white. he's at least not PURE evil but he's definitely one of the biggest obstacles in the way of the main group.
jax's character development has been really interesting to me so far, i think recent episodes have brought a more sympathetic light to the character but at the same time that doesn't make him exempt from consequences for a lot of his behavior. he's a REALLY shitty person that's done a lot of shitty stuff, but you can also tell that it's coming from rooted attachment issues and losing the will to want something other than just the circus. i think most of the characters don't fall under simple umbrellas like "good" or "bad" which makes them really compelling to me. for a show about a bunch of cartoon characters in a video game circus, every character feels surprisingly real.
i'm really interested to see where everything with C&A goes, the fact that not all of the lore drops from the episode 7 adventure is a complete fabrication is very interesting to me. it makes me wonder how much of what abel said about C&A that wasn't also mentioned by kinger is actually true (also man i REALLY lucked out investing in kinger as a character).
overall i loved these episodes, and i've loved the ride so far, and i'm really excited to see the finale!
