brief intro why i open this account

so uhh. hi, i guess not many of you really know me yet. you can call me orange 🍊 this isn’t actually my first time around in pick-a-card spaces. i’ve been quietly following and learning from different tarot readers for a while now. if you’ve been active in this community, there’s a chance you’ve already seen me around. i’m usually that person who joins free readings and game events just for the fun and connection. uhh yeah about this, this account is something i plan to keep for about a year before letting it go. my goal isn’t fame, really. i just want to leave a small mark here, share what i can and then, vanish. i just want to be seen, even briefly. ive spent most of my life feeling invisible, so this is my way of stepping forward, even if just a little.

can i be honest? not every parent deserves the privilege of having a child. i’ve carried depression and thoughts of wanting to disappear since I was young. being an illegitimate child is something i never chose, yet i’ve spent so much of my life feeling punished for it. i grew up resenting my mother for the situation, resenting the life i was handed, sometimes wishing i didn’t exist at all.

so forgive me if i come here and vent sometimes. i work. i survive. i endure. i am thriving. maybe i suffer. maybe i don’t deserve this pain. but despite everything, there’s still a part of me that hopes. hopes for a future better than what i was given. hopes for a life filled with love, stability, and chances i never had. and... maybe that's give me an idea why i decided to call this account orange, it's not only my favorite color and fruit but it's represent "hope", hope for brighter future.

i was hoping for a future that looks kinder than my past. hoping for a life where i feel loved, supported, and chosen.

my step-siblings all went to college. have a lavish life. i didn’t. they’re climbing, and i feel like i’m stuck at the bottom, working eight hours a day for minimum pay, just to get by. sometimes it feels humiliating. sometimes it feels like proof that i really am less than. but leaving that house was the first choice i ever made for myself. i never found peace there. only silence, tension, and the constant reminder that i didn’t quite belong. that i am labeled as "other."

hi, it's me again 👋🏽. today's pick-a-card is not about relationships although i don’t have anything against love or romantic reading. they’re beautiful, comforting, and sometimes exactly what we need. but today, i want to hold space for something else. don't get me wrong but i barely see a tarot reader that address self-impovement, growth, and success.
