It’s so hard being a fan of comics and being a fan of Princess Leia because most comics (especially written by men…) don’t understand her character at all. I can’t just pretend I don’t see the horribly misogynistic writing, they really don’t understand her (or like it when people commit violence against her to “humble her character”)

Like the new comics have done a much better job but it’s hit and miss
