i think part of why i kinda bounce off the broader objectum community is bc a lot of it seems like? kinda superficial?? idk if that makes sense but like. i just saw someone post this gif in an objectum context

and all they rly had to say about it was along the lines of "waow this machine, pretty lights". but like. first of all ive seen this gif used in a billion stimboards before, i'm pretty sure ive used it at some point, so you don't have to search far or very specifically to find it. second of all. im an arcade freak. you don't even know who that is. that's the ICE cyclone and it's MY crush NOT yours /j

all that said i started looking at images of it on google and can we appreciate the cyclone together for a second. look at how intricate the centerpiece is. look at all that neon. that rapidly-aging cabinet and logo design.... hello..

probably my favorite part of working at an arcade is getting to get in the machines and mess around.. two games were broken today and i got to get in there and see how they work.. touching the little levers and mechanisms to see how the game reacts.. its so fascinating.. ...

Decap organs have suuchhh a vibe to them. usually Im not as enamored by them as others, more so technically and musically impressed and in awe. because don't get me wrong, they're wonderful! and god bless a self playing accordion. but this one in particular, woaw

ough how id kill to expirience or be in the presence of a carousel that had a carousel organ accompanying her <3333 ,,,,,,, I've been on a few carousels , I always ride them when the opportunity arrives simply to get up close and look at it.....there's no socially acceptable way to do so otherwise ,,,,,, I have been on a few very beautiful carousels, tho, but never one with a living musical machine. it is a dream of mine
