hey, i saw your benrey shimeji, and i was wondering, how did you do it? i wanna make a forzen one! (i would ask you to make one, but taking into consideration that benrey's took a long time and likely a lot of effort PLUS i have no methods of payment, it'd be unfair, and i'd likely be told "no" anyways, which is fine!) i'd just like a simple (or at least, as simple as it can be) tutorial, nothing fancy. and, if you can, please provide screenshots! i easily get confused. thanks a million!

Forzin, you’re extremely valid! I’ll try to keep it as simple as I can, but you can message me if your still confused! I can be pretty bad at explaining ehehe... 1. Download a blank Shimeji! I downloaded one here http://kilkakon.com/shimeji/ and it was safe. 2. Extract the contents into an empty folder. If you’re using RAR you can’t activate the JAR file inside the file! In addition: it won’t load if you have an outdated JAVA so if it doesn’t work that’s a common issue. 3. img > Shimeji and all the sprites are in there. I used them as a guide for what each sprite needed to look like. You can also make a custom icon for him by replacing the one in the img folder. Any frames you make but don’t intend to use can be put in the unused folder if you wish as the Shimeji ignores that folder. 4. Draw your sprites and replace the placeholders! I used MediBang Paint for this, but anything that can export transparent images should be fine! Make sure all the sprites are called shime and the icon is called icon! If you rename them something forzen1 instead of shime1 it won’t be able to read it! And that’s pretty much it! They’re super simple to make it just takes a time to make 46 separate files. As long as you keep the license and read me intact you’ll be good! That’s why I put my own credits in a separate text document lmao~
