‘Meadowes' She narrowed her eyes upon recognizing the girl. Great, all she needed: another pesky person coming to bother her.
"Then I would suggest a bathroom stall." She retorted. It was supposed to be a mocking reply, but her tone fell flat. She didn’t really feel like making fun of anyone, just as much as she didn’t feel like having any sort of interaction.
And now the girl seemed to be stuck in the mud. That would’ve been hilarious under normal circumstances, and Narcissa would’ve made sure she’d never forget this incident, but she currently had no interest in teasing or bullying anyone, which was nothing like herself. Really, all she wanted was a few moments of peace.
Bu today wasn’t her day, it seemed.
"Maybe if you lost some weight you wouldn’t have gotten stuck." She remarked, raising an eyebrow at the girl. In normal circumstances she would’ve laughed at the girl’s misfortune, but today she wasn’t in the mood. Besides, she wouldn’t really be left alone if Dorcas remained stuck in the mud "If I help you, will you leave?"
The snarky comment about her weight caused Dorcas to adopt a hurt and ever so slightly confused frown. As far as she was concerned, her weight had very little to do with the fact that the slippery surface was making it impossible to move. Perhaps Narcissa was just trying to cause upset and poking fun at a girl's weight was one of the easiest ways to achieve just that. Not Dorcas though.
The truth was that she has a curvy figure and a tendency to gain a few pounds during the winter when the opportunities to walk outdoors were lessened, and this very rarely bothered her. Still, she shook her head at the younger blonde in blatant disapproval.
"There really is no need to be unkind," she informed, before swiftly returning to the more pressing matter of freeing herself from the mess she'd landed herself in. "But yes, if you help me then I will leave you to your thoughts.... or, um, whatever it was that you were doing."
