I mean, it sure as hell isn’t done but I don’t really know where I wanna take it so... here. I’ll just throw it into the void known as tunblrr dot com.

I think birds are absolutely adorable. So I decided to do some winter bird paintings for my grandparents!
It’s an Eurasian Jay (photo ref by Henrique Oliveira Pires) and an Eurasian Bullfinch (photo ref by Steve Dahlfors).
Forest flora
This was an interesting piece to paint since I rarely paint nature or plants... I’m really happy with how it turned out. I guess I was a bit early for fall vibes when I created this, and now posting it I’m a bit late to the party :D

Animals
I never got around to scanning these pieces earlier, that’s why I’m suddenly uploading a bunch of watercolour pieces... I painted some animals, the first one is a grey seal (ref photo by Rob Janné) and the second one is of my and my boyfriends cats, Toulouse & Houdini.
Cars, cars, cars...
I did some watercolour paintings of cars earlier this year. Don’t quote me on this, but I do believe the first one is a Mercedes-Benz 500K Cabriolet and the second one is a restored 1958 Aston Martin DB2/4 Mk III (photo credits to Robin Adams).
Nature of Life
I made this piece for our spring exhibitions back in 2017. I wanted to explore the frailty of life and how certain things just have to happen, it’s just the way things are. Most of all I just wanted to paint some animals...
A few digital pieces for a facebook group, where we’d drawn something based on a prompt every weekday. It was fun to do some quicker, more experimental pieces!
I’ve lately been incredibly inspired by Lioba Brückner’s videos where she talks about creating art while she’s in the process of creating art herself. I really adore the techniques she use and the motifs of her paintings so I used some of the inspiration I got from her and a photo from instagram as reference and voilá. A new painting was born..
I practiced doing portraits using watercolors. Nearly all of them are referenced from photos I found online.
A dark and unknown road...
Something I made in the middle of the night after being very stuck in an art block. Not a masterpiece, but at least I got something done, and sometimes that’s all you can do!
Some sketches from the past year or so? I’ve enjoyed using watercolors a bit in my sketchbooks, I like the fact that it gives some texture and color.
The Lady and the Ocelot Forgot to upload this earlier... This piece was combined with an ocelot skull that I made out of air drying clay and some golden chocolate coins. The piece was a small take on materialistic values and what remains once we’re gone.
okay i know, extremely shitty photos but hey. A couple of months ago I got a sketch book that is entirely dedicated to real life sketches (or sometimes using photos... still) and I thought I’d post some of the stuff I’ve managed to draw so far.
Testing out FireAlpaca, trying to find SAI alternatives that work on Mac.
Currently working on this...
