"Martin Luther King. What can I say? Well, I love the man. He was liberty minded through and through. He stood for non-aggression, non-intervention, love, justice for all, civil disobedience, the second amendment, education for all, and freedom for all.Â
It is crazy how both parties try to claim him, yet have done little to nothing to further his cause. They have used parts of his message and distorted it for political gain. We still have a long way to go, but the strides that have been made in this country are due in large part to WE THE PEOPLE! As opposed to "them the government."Â
"Cowardice asks the question, 'Is it safe?' Expediency asks the question, 'Is it politic?' Vanity asks the question, 'Is it popular?' But, conscience asks the question, 'Is it right?' And there comes a time when one must take a position that is neither safe, nor politic, nor popular, but one must take it because one's conscience tells one that it is right." -MLK
Let's not just post about the man, let's not just speak well of the man, let's become the manifestation of his message by preserving and fighting for freedom."
