Welcome to my I Got bored one day blog. Today i will be blogging random thoughts anytime i got free time and try to get some of this junk out of my head. Some might be serious most of it wont but i and going to try to post on most of my Blogs and probably get some memes and other things on there as well. for those of you that following anything i post which is most likely no one i am sorry and enjoy.

Me and Myself, Like Sun and Moon

Oh boi! this year is starting out to be one thats for sure. I told myself i wanted to do better, but all I see is this continuous up hill ramble ahead of me. I hate that I am a person that doesnt see things through. I start multiple projects and never finish one. The project that i do not look forward to is probably the one i need to work on the most. Me. I have so many things on the self improvement list that i dont even know where to start. I feel this impending fail coming on. I am not the right guy for this job. I just want to be ....ok. I havent given up in the face of this obstacle. One thing is for sure I need some organization to my chaos.

It's funny.

The experiences that we endure and embrace tends to, for the most part, end up being total happenstance.

This year for me laid out, for me at least, no logic.

I am no better coming out of it than when I first began. I'm a little worst and what's more I discovered that it doesn't matter. Nothing does. The best choices that I have made this year couldn't prevent my greatest heartbreak. The random few things that I did on a whim ended up being some of greatest successes. I got things I didn't ask for some of which I did know it was an option. I was refused time and time again for the thing I true needed and wanted.

I don't really care it's just funny how everything works ya know.

So welcome. To this new year. This new "decade". Its a lot of new and with new there is great possibility for change. There is hope for those who seek it, but no promises. The price of living in these coming years might be hell. But as one of my favorite current songs go, "You don't have to sell me on how nice a fire smell." I'm ready to move forward grief and all. I might not be the same but I'll be damned if I'm not going to be me.

So what are your goals for this year. You gonna in with a plan? And I'm not talking a flimsy resolution. Are you gonna commit to your own growth?!

I ask all this but I'm not quite sure I will. But I have things I would like to commit to. As always, as i grow would like to become kinder. It's not fun being empathic. But it helps knowing I'm doing all that i can. I would like to work smarter. I'm not entirely sure what that means in my case. But I'm tired of having to do simple things over again that I could've done right the first time. I want to cherish the moments more with the people in my life. It breaks me down when I am hanging with someone and I think to myself "why haven't you did this sooner you are a bad friend". I want this year to be one of very little regrets. I want to fall into my decisions. I want to be sure.

This goals are small thoughts that flow through my head from time to time. I don't know how to get there but I hope I will.

As this year come lets welcome it with a smirk and a hand full of the past to blow in the wind. Cry for the dead, smile for the new additions to our life, and just overall breathe. its another day, my petty problems are not here and nether are yours. new problems might arise but dont let that drag

Proud Mary

This is the first film of the year that I just got out from seeing. And i am happy to report that it might be one of the more important ones.

Proud Mary is an action pack drama staring Empire’s Taraji Henson as a hard hitting yet compassionate assassin looking to gain redemption via an orphan whom she feels responsible for and a connection with. This setup is kinda riddled with tired movie tropes and clumsy writting but has enough good acting and tough but fair moments to pull it through. The child actor is excellent in his roll and keeps mary on her toes throughout the film. As for the antagonist of this film it seems to be half in the people try to keep mary down and half mary her self for the bad decisions she makes at critical moments. I glad to see danny glover back in action and hope its not a one off. The love interest or….excuse me the ex love interest kinda felt outta place at times and rubbed me the wrong way. This is not to say i did not enjoy the acting because the part he played no matter how unnecessary, he played it well. The title character mary harken back to the bad assery of foxy brown but i felt this character was well more grounded.

One of the biggest gripes i have about this film is not really about the film it self….. This honor goes to sony. The promotion of this film was almost non existant and I have to make a shout out to my facebook friends for turning me on to it. The lack of promotion in it self seem to hurt what i believe would have be a pretty decent opening for this beginning of the year action flick, but i can see it being over shadowed by the more know commuter and the ongoing trails of the last jedi and jumanji. Though this is already happenging lets not continue the trend. One of the biggest things I noticed from my fellow viewers at the theather was the overwhelming support from the black community… let keep this a thing, lets let hollywood know we want more black lead films. Cause the sad part is i saw a lot of kids at this R rated action drama. And its sad not cause of adults letting their kids watch R rated movies but because we have to out of deperation for them to see strong black characters in our media. Hopefully this can continue with the up coming black panter and start a snow ball effect of good diverse movies.

If you havent seen the film go out and give it a chance. Its not the best film but it is an action packed movie with a lot of heart and charming moments.

And as the new year approaches im not gonna make any pledges that im going to do more or do better all im saying is lets see. I know what have, what i need, and where i want to be. It if get there great but it shouldnt be some master goal but where my life should be heading anyway. All in all i cant say that life is great and everything is going my way. There are a lot of things that suck and others that just hurt, but i can say im content. I take my bad with the good and hope for better. I am human and thats the way we are wired.

What i would like to address is the regrets

If ive hurt you this year, forgive me for it was not my intention cause i was probably looking at life selfishly

If i have forgotten you please move on if you wish but know that i will not forget you forever like flashes of meteor showers you come in with traces throughout my life. I never could have become who i am without you and am glad you we in my life.

if i have i annoyed you know that i probably liked you as a person and have not got the skill to communicate properly.

if i pushed you away it was due to my imperfections and not yours.

And lastly if i loved you i owe you the biggest apology cause im sure i have done a little of all of these to you. Because its the ones that are the closes that get hurt the most. im sorry and i still think you are the best (friend girlfriend mom dad cousin lover listener).
