“By living deeply in the present moment we can understand the past better and we can prepare for a better future.”

I’ll need to think about this one for a few and see if I can find this to be true for me.
Here’s to sunny days ahead!

Take a breath. It’s going to be okay, I promise.
I asked the wise man if it was okay to start over after thirty. As if life had an expiration date. As if dreams came with a deadline. As if the soul knew what a calendar was. He didn’t laugh. He didn’t judge the fear behind the question. He simply reminded me of something we all forget: Time does not own you. Fear does. We are taught that certain chapters must be finished by a certain age. That by thirty, we should already know who we are, what we want, and how the story ends. But life was never meant to be linear. It is circular. It repeats lessons until we are ready to learn them. Starting over is not failure. It is courage showing up late — but right on time. Some people bloom at twenty. Some at forty. Some at sixty. And some carry seeds their entire lives until the soil is finally right. The reset button was never removed. It was just hidden beneath fear, shame, and comparison. As long as you are breathing, you are allowed to change your mind. To choose differently. To walk away. To begin again. The world will try to convince you that it’s too late. That you missed your chance. That you should settle for less because time is running out. But wisdom whispers the opposite: You are still here. Which means the story is still being written. Until death removes you from this world, you are not finished. You are not late. You are not behind. You are simply in the middle of becoming. And sometimes, the most powerful thing a person can do is look at their life — and press reset without apology.🖤
Possibly the Most important thing you'll read this year...
The following is the philosophy of Charles Schulz, the creator of the 'Peanuts' comic strip.
You don't have to actually answer the questions. Just ponder on them. Just read it straight through, and you'll get the point.
1. Name the five wealthiest people in the world.
2. Name the last five Heisman trophy winners.
3. Name the last five winners of the Miss America pageant.
4. Name ten people who have won the Nobel or Pulitzer Prize.
5. Name the last half dozen Academy Award winners for best actor and actress.
6. Name the last decade's worth of World Series winners.
How did you do?
The point is, none of us remember the headliners of yesterday.
These are no second-rate achievers.
They are the best in their fields.
But the applause dies.
Awards tarnish ...
Achievements are forgotten.
Accolades and certificates are buried with their owners.
Here's another quiz. See how you do on this one:
1. List a few teachers who aided your journey through school.
2. Name three friends who have helped you through a difficult time.
3. Name five people who have taught you something worthwhile.
4. Think of a few people who have made you feel appreciated and special.
5. Think of five people you enjoy spending time with.
Easier?
The lesson:
The people who make a difference in your life are not the ones with the most credentials, the most money ... or the most awards. They simply are the ones who care the most.
Zentangle Inspired Art (ZIA). Red, white and black artwork is my favorite to make.
Another fun build. Zuru retro Polaroid.
“Let them judge you. Let them misunderstand you. Let them gossip about you. Their opinions aren’t your problems. You stay kind, committed to love and free in your authenticity. No matter what they do or say, don’t you doubt your worth or the beauty of your truth. Just keep shining like you always do.”
— Scott Stabile
“A ship is safe in harbor, but that’s not what ships are for.”
— William G.T. Shedd
