pvgilist:
That she did. It was probably why he still enjoyed being around her even after all that had happened. Freyja was precious to him and even though he had never imagined her turning out the way she did, he quite liked who she was. “Jenny…Jenny…” He repeated a few times. The hybrid heard of that name recently and he thought hard on where. Just who could be old enough to hold a place in his lovely sister’s heart. “Oh…” His eyes widened, but after he regained enough composure he looked over at her. “Jin-Ae, my girl Jin-Ae is your hot, little thing? And you didn’t know that she was here? Freyja, I knew she was here, and I don’t even try keeping track of them.” She made it clear that she wouldn’t speak any more the little half-witch, but he couldn’t hide his surprise. “You probably should if you’re still drinking this garbage.” He lowered the glass and looked around. Alasdair wasn’t too picky when it came to food, but he preferred it if they weren’t intoxicated.
freyja was sure she could’ve snapped her own neck from how quickly she turned to look at her brother at the mention of jenny’s name. while it was no surprise that alasdair knew the hybrid being she was closely associated with their family, freyja wasn’t aware that she had become that close. although she had never openly claimed jenny, that still didn’t mean this information didn’t bother her. how long had this been going on without her knowing? the fact that she didn’t have the answer and that alasdair knew of jenny’s whereabouts when freyja couldn’t find her for three centuries only pissed her off more. “what do you mean ‘my girl’? didn’t mother teach you not to touch what isn’t yours,” she spoke angrily, glaring at him. if it weren’t for her wanting to hear his answer, she would’ve snapped his neck. while she knew it wouldn’t kill him, it would still make her feel better. jenny had always brought out the possessive side of freyja and her hunger didn’t help her mood either. “how long have you been fucking my girlfriend behind my back, alasdair?” knowing that she could handle the situation better if she ate first, freyja took a deep breath. “you’re lucky you’re my brother,” she said. “and i don’t want easy prey. i want to hunt. i like playing with my food first.”
