Welcome to Originverse! A custom ‘world’ made by me inspired by various undertale au’s!

This blog is an ask blog mainly, so people can ask me (the creator) or the characters questions!

On rare moments i will also allow asks that involve direct interaction with the characters in a non-canonical sense!

This ask blog is semi-canon in certain moments wich i will mention! Other times it is just me/the characters being sillly!

Okay so- I was still struggling with Idyllic’s design, SO

I spend a few days tinkering, and i think i found a design i 100% vibe with!

He may look scary, but he’s hella curious about everything still hehehehehhee

Answering this rq as i don’t want to ignore the ask for too long;

Ravn’s design is still being redone, so cannot answer this question just yet! After his design you are free to ask again!

Also, another question, sorry I'm just getting more and more interested in this au the more you talk about it!

But why did Sigil become more hostile after Reveri fell ill? Was it a way to seem stronger since their king was ill? Or was it something else that was causing his hostility?

You’re free to send a dm if you’d want if you have a lot of questions! I love talking and brainstorming about Originverse!

Sigil got more hostile- and kind of cruel in his counter attacks because the balance was tipping. Somnus- back then- was more the ‘evil’ that most see him as, so he kept attacking to try and gain more ground and power. Cascade is who made Somnus more docile and friendly- though he still love’s causing negativity- but holds back a bit for Cascade’s health and training.

Sigil is emotionless- paints not working on him- so he is more ‘chaotic neutral’ because he doesn’t do stuff out of malice, but what he deems is necessary for the balance that he views is ideal- even if his actions cause suffering.

Wait. So if Cobalt and Sigil had a kid BEFORE Reveri's death. WAS SIGIL CHEATING????

Poly relationships are common, so the three had a close bond all together They all knew of each others child!

So not really- but tbh i wouldn’t put cheating past Sigil, seeing as he wouldn’t form a bond in that way and just do what he wants.

This question has been on my mind but I wasn't sure how to phrase it or ask it.

But I was wondering, what is Sigil's relationship with Cobalt and Falsum? With the existence of Paperjam and Blueprint it made me wonder what the dynamic between them might be.

Answering this like this as it’s a bit complicated!

for this AMV, child creation is done purposefully by combining the two’s magic (and thus dna) and choosing a ‘host/mother’. The soul gets developed around the ‘mothers’ soul slowly, so their ‘pregnancy’ is essentially completely invisible unless they show their soul.

Paperjam(Chart) was created on accident right before the Eclipsan war- so before all au’s got destroyed. Falsum and Sigil were fighting and their scattered magic created Chart on accident and surprisingly fast. Falsum rejected Chart almost instantly due to numerous reasons (though secretly does watch him grow up). While Sigil saw potential in Chart- though more in the sense of use than love. Chart is the oldest of the three!

Cobalt and Sigil had a child in the more ‘traditional’ way for the MV. Cobalt always admired Sigils (and Reveries) abilities. And mistook his feelings for loving Sigil, though Sigil is incapable of feelings, he humored Cobalts feelings and allowed the action to be done. Blueprint(Inpri) is mainly raised by Cobalt. At first it was both, but Cobalts feelings for Sigil got complicated after Reverie’s death and Sigils response to it. So he prefers Inpri to be around him more- Inpri doesn’t mind and actually prefers Cobalt over Sigil. Inpri is the middle child!

And to answer this immediately as well; Cascade!

Reverie and Sigil knew each other the longest and were very close, though both were too busy with the wars to consider a child. But after the au’s collapse Reverie and Sigil had more time- eventually agreeing to have a child. Though what they didn’t expect is that Reveries magic priotized the souling, thus making the balance tip to favoring negativity. This caused Reverie to grow weaker an ill- making his magic even more focused on the souling and causing a spiraling effect. During this Sigil became more hostile in his attacks against the other kingdom and doing things that both Cobalt and Reverie disapproved of heavily. Reverie left right before the ‘birth’ of Cascade, requesting that Cobalt stayed to keep and eye on Sigil for him until he returned.

But the creation of Cascade’s body without both parents present was too much in the end and drained all of Reveries magic, causing him to pass away shortly after. Sigil never went after Reverie- too occupied in protecting the kingdom against the attacks, thinking he’s return eventually. Rune and Sicari are the one’s who found Cascade soon after because Somnus sent out an investigation when the balance when haywire at Reverie’s death. Cascade is thus the youngest!

Hey Kvit what language do you speak?

I chose old norse mainly as a joke that went out of control.

The lore of it now is essentially that LONG before isolation and the eclipsan war, Idyllic saw someone regularly that spoke old norse, so he learned that mortal language first! Now he only speaks that because he’s not willing to learn from scratch!

Glory learned old norse to understand Idyllic, and because they never saw other people Glory defaulted to norse- the kids understandably learning it as their ‘mother language’ as a result.

Ravn is the least experienced in English of the two siblings. Kvit having had a more essential age to learn- though was still barely exposed to English. So he understands it mostly, but prefers not to embarrass himself by attempting to speak it- yet.

Is Kvit also in training (to be Cascade's guard), or is he already trained/prepared?

For a more detailed answer;

Kvit is fully trained as he started at a very young age when it came to self-defense.

Though if he (or others) feel like he’s slacking or getting too lax, he gets a wake up call his way named Idyllic.
