Letās start with the big boy. Now donāt be turned off by the tobacco notes, this is the most photorealistic, sluttiest honey fragrance I have ever come across. The kind of scent that will make you roll your eyes to the back of your skull. IF you like honey, that is. Stays on your skin FOREVER.

Slowly coming out of hibernation. Been focusing so much on warhammer stuff lately so I dabbled a bit in my old roots: bodyhorror.
A bird @redstairs graciously asked me to help narrow down scents for our favorite flower child and stickbug. So, after a decent amount of research and decants piling up on my desk, here are my personal picks for Yrliet and Marazhai.
DISCLAIMER! This is a personal interpretation as a hobby perfume enthusiast. Perfume is highly subjective as everyone's nose & skin chemistry is different. You are free to make your own interpretation.
Alright, with that out of the way, let's begin.Ā

YrlietĀ
Sheās not a sweet vanilla girlie that's for sure. Yrliet is deeply connected with spiritualism, something wild and free ā far away from the flying monkeigh steel birds and much closer to the living earth.
Lush greens, spicy herbals. White flowers, but not too creamy or narcotic.
Basilico & Fellini by Vilhelm PerfumeĀ
Highly unique, much like Yrliet herself. One of the best fig scents out there. If you can appreciate grass & basil forward notes youāre gonna LOVE this one. Bright and intensely green, but still a lilā sweet without pissing you off.Ā
Immaginazione by Fornasetti
My personal favorite for Yrliet. Lavender, geranium, woods & amber. Much more deep and medicinal than the previous one without being too cloying. Makes me think of a warm midsummer night in a lavender field. So, so pretty, and look at the bottle!
Fleurs de fleur by Une Nuit Nomade
Non-indolic white florals. Tuberose and jasmine with citrus touches and saffron. Florals to me can often turn skanky (which is not a bad thing necessarily) but this one stays dreamy and clean, slowly turning warmer as it sits on your skin.Ā
MarazhaiĀ
Now, Marazhai was a bit more difficult to pin. In my mind a drukhari doesnāt always necessarily smell āniceā to the human nose.Ā
So, you could go a few ways with him. Vinyl bodybags, blood & sulphuric acid, the usual Marzipan carnage on a tuesday afternoon.
Hell, just go straight for the beaver asshole juice (Secretions Magnifiques by Etat Libre d'Orange, if you know you know).
Mass murder aside, I can also see something more mature, mysterious and otherworldly, all while adhering to the standards of a drukhari.Ā
I definitely see metals, spice, smoke and leather in him.
The Iron Duke OR Rake & Ruin by Beaufort LondonĀ
Warning! None of these are for the faint of heart.
Nasty and abrasive, but in a good way. Very fitting for our dear Marazhai. Iron duke is on the metallic end with fleshy warmth underneath the steel and gunpowder.
Rake & Ruin is exactly like the name suggests: death and destruction.
Some have compared it to burned bodies with juniper garnish.
Passage dāEnfer by L'Artisan Parfumeur
My personal favorite for Marazhai. Cold, smoky incense together with airy and ethereal lilies. Translates to āPassage to hell.ā Smells like something coveted and sacred, though weāre not at a church but rather āabandon hope, all ye who enter here.āĀ
Black Afgano by Nasomatto
Of course I had to mention this one. Itās probably one of the iconic evil adjacent scents out there, with delicious resinous cannabis & smoky woods.
Iāll refer to what Iāve said about this perfume previously:
āA dark, slowly enveloping cloud of smoke and oud.Ā It starts off green, then it creeps into your skull to command all of your senses and pull you into depravity. Extremely unique and unforgettable."
