Long Overdue...

{{*looks at my last post* JEEBUS, I've been gone for way too long!

Uh, hey, everyone. Tavie here. Now before anyone comes after me with pitchforks (you know who you are ^^;), I have to apologize for not being as active on here as I used to be. From getting a big promotion at my current job that's taking up a lot of my time, to dealing with the ups and downs of my creativity, to say I haven't had the time to RP as much is the understatement of the freaking year. Add in anxiety regarding RPing, and it hasn't been a fun time.

However, I can't overcome my anxiety by worrying about it. It's time for me to get up and start kicking my anxiety and fears in the pants. And what better way to do that than to get back online again?

Not sure if any of my old RP friends are still on here. Or if anyone is still following me, since it's been two years since I've posted and it's been a good few months since I've gotten the chance to properly RP. Life kinda killed that desire for a while, unfortunately. But right now, I'm trying to light that match and get the flames of creativity burning again.

Things might change up on the blog soon. Time to dust off the old cobwebs and get started again!

I LIVE AGAIN

But yes, so, SO sorry for the disappearance, folks! 2021 was a wild year. Working long hours at my old job, starting school, eventually leaving that old job and started a new one, dealing with mental health, stress and financial issues, suffering a creative slump and not feeling like RPing for months...yeah, it was a lot. But I’ve mostly gotten it under control, thank God.

Just wanted to let you know that no, this blog is not dead. I still love Hanna-Barbera, and I still love this hillbilly cat and mouse duo. I hope to continue the threads I’ve started, as well as interact with more wonderful muns and muses that I’ve followed, but haven’t interacted with yet ‘cause I’m not sure how to approach. I guess I’m still a little shy sometimes ^^

Anyways, I just wanted to let you all know that no, I’m not dead, and neither is this blog! And as we go into the new year, I hope to continue to be active moving forward!

Bartz grinned as he didn’t mind sharing the food he packed with good friends as the food tastes better when shared with those you hold dear to your heart, good food shared with good company.

He nods before speaking, grinning as he was digging into his ham along with some of the food that Punkin’ prepared for them to have as it tasted absolutely wonderful as he wished he could pack some in a jar to take with him when traveling.

“You’re quite welcome and Punkin’, this is so wonderful and so tasty! You should become a professional chef or something as you make really good food, this makes me crave more! heh heh!”

The traveler’s words gave Punkin’ some pause, and he thought on this as he chewed on another strip of ham. “Hmmm...a pro-fessional, eh?” Punkin’ replied. He was no Einstein--but even he knew that he could make some serious money with that career option. “Gotta admit, t’aint never thoughta that one before.”

Mushmouse couldn’t help but chuckle at the cat’s comment. He knew what he was going to say would make Punkin’ blow his top--but he’d walked into this one. “Reckon that’s ‘cause you hardly think at all!” he said, before erupting into a full-on belly laugh.

Truth be told, I haven’t made a lot of goals for the new year yet--I do have things that I want to focus on, but I want to make sure that I’m not going to stress myself out, so I don’t want to make HUGE goals. However, I would love to do some more RPs here and make more friends, which I’m also aiming to do in my personal life. I hope I can do more of that this year!

SUPER Important Update

{{That moment you remember it’s been two months since your last appearance...

So, a bit of a heads up! The main reason I haven't been on here in a while is because I recently started a part time job working at McD's. I know, it's not most people's first choice for a job, but I need some working experience and some money in my pocket. Thankfully, things have been going well and I'm settling into my new job quite nicely. I also have some big plans for my life which I’ll be sharing on my fanfiction profiles.

This does mean that my presence on here will be pretty sporadic (since I'm also in school, although thank goodness I only have two weeks left of this term), but I haven't forgotten about Punkin’ Puss in the least! Just trying to get the hang of managing my life with a part-time job, is all.

I just wanted to let you all know how life’s been going for me and what’s going on. See you all soon!}}

Bartz smiles as they walked inside of the cabin as he sat down politely, looking to them both as Punkin’ was searching for some food as the Wanderer could see. He sighed a little as he appreciated the compliments and kindness he was receiving as he then spoke, with a gentle voice.

“It’s quite alright guys as I have some fresh food stored in my supplies of things I carry with me when traveling, none of the food is bad as I cast a ice spell to keep it up fresh and ready to eat so I don’t giving some to you both if you like as you’re really nice friends and kind-hearted individuals.

Again, thank-you so much for the kindness and hospitality you’ve been giving me as it’s really nice of you to do.”

He finished speaking, smiling brightly to them both as he mean every word.

“Aw, shucks, Bartz, yer a-gonna make me embarrassed. An’ thanks fer the food!” Mushmouse said, smiling brightly. With compliments like these, it was no wonder he’d been able to get ol’ ornery Punkin’ Puss to simmer down--and he was glad for it. “An’ honestly, it’s great ta have ya here. Folks rarely come ‘round here to our place.”

“Yeah,” Punkin’ Puss chimed in, cutting into his ham and then forking a decent-sized piece of cornbread. Normally, he’d take his time to eat, but his hunger was such that he wasn’t in the mood to savor every bite. “Most o’ the mountain folk tend ta avoid us...what with the feudin’ an’ what not.”

“Hey, Punkin’, you’s got any idea what we’re havin’ for dessert?” Mushmouse said as they walked inside. The excitement from earlier had already caused dinner to wear off, and a cookie wasn’t gonna cut it.

Punkin’ Puss, who was already in the kitchen getting his plate, turned to Mushmouse with a small frown. “I’s gotta see what we’ve got left, since yer cousins ate most’a everythin’!” he explained. Yes, he was still sore about that; his pantry wasn’t an all-you-can-eat buffet! “So don’t be surprised if’n I cain’t find two cookies ta rub together!”

Mushmouse wasn’t too bothered by the cat’s change of attitude--this was Punkin’ Puss, after all. A bright smile came upon his face as he looked up at the cat. “You’s able to whip up things with anythin’, Punkin’ Puss!” he said. “’sides, reckon you could do somethin’ ta treat the feller who saved yer life!”
