a couple months ago i saw a tiktok that was talking about how there seems to be a new trend in parasocial relationships with celebrities where instead of thinking they are your friend people instead start acting like pr managers and overreact to whatever situations they don’t approve which really feels present with what’s been going on with lando lately. and the thing about that is well it’s literally not your job. don’t you people have better things to do.

recent landoscar media has me feeling soooooo crazy because i truly feel like they do powerplay every interview.....like in the recent share or dare lando won't honestly answer any oscar-related question, will not pay him a compliment or say what irritates him and oscar is like. fine! but in other interviews the shoe is on the other foot and oscar seems SO reluctant to give an inch/be honest in any capacity and lando is like okay! i'll be EXTRA genuine to spite you. and it feels Very Charged To Me

i love that lando is genuinely basking in his wdc he seems really weightless and comfortable and confident and for someone who's got a reputation of getting in his own way it's really lovely to see him be so secure. i think a lot of athletes have a hard time with the feeling of ....so what now? that can set in once the adrenaline dies down and i like that lando has always been very mindful of having a fulfilling life outside of f1, which makes it then easier to be fulfilled by the success he's achieved inside the sport. and i also feel like we've never been closer to his dick pics leaking
