I can’t be the only one who thought the swearing was OTT? I understand adding it a bit for dramatic tension but having even Penny swearing felt like profanity for profanitys’ sake. Didn’t feel justified, ya know?

AMY SANTIAGO DESERVES THE WORLD

Still not over the episode.

I love how the He Said, She Said episode makes the old episodes have a new depth.

-Her affinity to Holt and her enthusiasm when she felt like she truly found a mentor. This also makes it 20x better that yep Holt was mentoring her all along. Makes the “managing an Amy is a pleasure” 30x better, and standing up to him raised to the 10th power better. (I feel it in my heart that Amy Santiago is Holt’s favorite but that is a discussion for another time)

-How she would never disobey an order of a superior officer. Sometimes you follow the rules because it’s the safest way to avoid anybody questioning or doubting you. It breaks my heart that as brilliant as she is part of her questions and doubts if she deserves it all. (AMY SANTIAGO DESERVES ALL THE BEAUTY IN THIS WORLD OK??)

-How even when the whole squad was a jungle during the McGinley era she was very uptight and not enjoying it at all.

-How she studied so hard for the sergeant’s exam.

-The hearing wedding bells comment.

-Her disappointment with Det. Dave Majors when she thought they went out to celebrate the case but he thought it was a date.

It’s cuter when you recognize that the lion with visible spots is a juvenile. There’s a very high chance the other lion that runs over to investigate is the MOTHER.

The first lion is asking for comfort because she was given a big spook!!! and she needs mommy to tell her it’s safe and ok!!!! (What’s cuter is that mommy clearly reassures her, and goes on to take the parent role of ‘deal with the scream rat in order to protect my large and easily frightened daughter’)
