Regulus’ mouth twitched slightly upwards, causing Billie’s annoyance to deepen further.

She was beginning to get the distinct impression that he was enjoying leading her on a wild goose chase.

Billie gave a wave on her way out Theon’s healer’s door and a nod of understanding. Of course, she knew all that already. She was a cursebreaker, for Godric’s sake, staring into the face of darkness and winning was precisely what she lived for.
