Potsdam: “Sous le manteau pour H. H. Tillgner”, (1920). An early illustrated edition of these homoerotic poems by Verlaine. Erotic title page etching by Marcus Behmer, who also designed the unusual and very erotic phallic endpapers. One of 250 numbered copies (#60), bound in bright orange boards, with ¼ vellum spine, gold titling, corners vellum. On the cover is a gold embossed medallion with the author’s name and title around a phallic emblem. A very good example of a rare book, slight repair to spine.
