So I have been seeing a photoset circulating around about Monet’s home in Giverny France and wanted to tell a little story.
I lived in Paris for six months when I was twenty years old. This was right before Iphones became mainstream, I didnt speak the language well and did not have friends. That was okay! I spent my days wandering the city, finding places to read and getting profoundly lost and loving it. It was a beautiful time to be in a beautiful place.
My mother came to visit me which made for a great little vacation, and we took a tour up to Giverny to see Monet’s house and it is just as breathtaking as all of these photos, every time I see them I feel a spark of warmth.
Several years later I bought ACHHD and hopped on the bandwagon of posting my interiors. I was requested by Hippeaux (not one of my favorite villagers at the time) to create an art studio for him and immediately I thought, of course, Monet. So here is a repost of those photos from a while back (you can find them if you search the ACHHD tag in my blog)
I really hope you enjoy them!
