I just wanted to come in and say how it does warm my heart to see so many people still reblogging things from here so many years after starting this blog. I hope that everyone is doing well in the kin community, and those reblogging from here (kin or not) are taking care of themselves and having fun. I don’t really identify with the community any more, but I am still thankful for all the time I had way back when and the great people I met. It was a weird time in my life and I found a lot of comfort and confidence to explore myself and identity in many ways.

I won’t go into details, but my datemate was found dead recently, and I need to get out to Idaho to be at their funeral. The thing is, I need money to get there and back.

A GoFundMe wouldn’t get the money to me until a few days into November. I don’t know how much I’ll need (I know for sure I have a way to get back to Ohio, and I’m figuring out how to get to Idaho right now.)

If I may ask, what is a therian?

They’re basically otherkin who believe they are an animal who physically existed on earth. This can be anything from tree pangolins, to bacteria, to smilodon. Its just a more specific term. ((for example, a wolf would be therian and otherkin, but a green wolf would be otherkin))-Mod Lycan
