So let’s begin with a little about me

I'm 21 yrs old

I’m a woman and my pronouns are she/her/hers

I’m currently in college, so updates might get a little slow sometimes

if you have any other questions about me, I have my asks open and depending on the question I may add it to an eventual FAQ

Here’s some rules I would like to make clear

This blog is welcome to everyone as long as you are polite and kind to me and each other

Some otome games can have questionable material, I will try to tag accordingly. If there are certain things you’d like tagged let me know please. I’ll do my best to make sure everyone can have a pleasant experience here but I ask that you do take care of yourselves as well <3

As I said previously, everyone is welcome. This includes potential minors. I ask you all to keep this in mind when interacting with each other.

That being said, some otome have explicit ratings. Depending on how explicit, they may be barred from this blog. I know some games have low age ratings but may also have explicit material in the form of drama cds etc. If anything is shared that is potentially explicit or rated for adults, I will tag it with an r18 tag. I ask that minors respect this and if I see otherwise it will probably end in a block. This is put in place to keep everyone safe so I hope you understand.

If I find people being rude or inappropriate to someone else on my page, you will get blocked. This of course includes racism, transphobia, any form of lgbt+ hate, etc etc.

Finally: Maps/thinspo/terfs/racists are very much unwanted here. All of you make me uncomfortable. Do me a favour and do not interact with me in anyway.

Some info about my workflow

currently I make my posts about games I’m currently making on pages in my appearance editor. They are linked on my page(PC) or on the top of this post. This is where you will find a more ‘real-time’ edit of the page.

Once I am finished with the page, I will turn it into a more official post that can be seen regularly on my blog.

I have a section for each love interest on the main post and they are in the order in which I intend on playing through

I try to keep these main posts as spoiler free as possible, but it can end up making them vague. If you have further questions about a game feel free to ask!

I will of course always tag anything I deem as a spoiler. The format that I will use, will be an abbreviation of the game’s name and spoiler. For example; Dangerous Fellows = DF:spoiler . You will find my tags for other games on my game list (linked at the top).

I intend to keep you guys updated on my progress through games as I play them. These too will be tagged. For example; Olympia Soiree Riku = os playthrough:riku

Anything that I deem a spoiler will also be put under a read more, in case you come across it anyways.

I finished Riku’s route, so here are my thoughts: (There are spoilers so be aware of that, thank you <3)

Holy shit, okay. Opinions on Riku’s route. Hmm. I liked it. I liked it quite a bit and by halfway through I warmed up to him a lot. I.. Was a little annoyed by some of the conflict there.. Like when he straight up implied Olympia was a whore or whatever.. It really felt like it had come out of nowhere. I also didn’t particularly like how Akaza was the one who told us that Riku was the dancer, but I guess that was just the easiest way to go about it. When he gave up his colour ribbon and stayed in Yomi basically for us my heart hurt. It was so nice to see him interact with others without this cloudy judgement that was basically forced on him. And then when he tells us that his mom was a Hazushi I was so surprised. I definitely didn’t expect it. I sort of have mixed feelings on it, but I don’t think it made the story any less good. I thought the whole thing with Sakyo was kind of.. Too fast? I think they could’ve drawn it out a little more or something, but I’m probably just being picky.

I ended up doing both of the bad endings right before I finished up the good ending. The first one, when he becomes an executor due to his usage of Batsu on someone I thought was sort of interesting. I think that could have some really interesting potential for fan works (fanfic, fanart etc.). I was definitely really sad about it. I think it really hits hard when you experience all of the stuff that happens in the good route like your first kiss and how he stands up for your love for each other to Lady Shura. I also really liked the second bad ending. I think the way it shows our relationship with Lady Shura when we are both going through the same issue is interesting. I like to think that in another timeline Shura and Olympia would’ve gotten along a little more and maybe had a nice mother/daughter relationship.

Oh my gosh, I can’t forget about Fusou. I really hope he shows up in the other routes. Any kind of good family related stories really hit me hard and Olympia’s found family in him makes me so happy. And I really love how Riku reacts to getting to meet him, it’s so cute. And finally the little side story you can read afterwards! It probably had my favourite CG from his route. They were just so cute laying there together. And I love when he opens up about his feelings. I personally like when people are more verbal with their affection when it comes to games like this. Ultimately I was pleasantly surprised by how much I enjoyed his route. When I started the game and watched the opening, he caught my eye first. But when I was introduced to him in game I didn’t really like him that much and ended up favouring Yosuga more. While I do think Yosuga will definitely end up my favourite, I ended up liking Riku a ton more and I’m happy about it.

I’m getting things set up to play Ikémen vampire and maybe some of the others in the series… by that I mean I’m going to hustle for coins and diamonds for the next month in preparation;-; I think I’ll do a different format with games like this since they take so much time.. I’ll make sure to update you guys about it

i ended up playing the true ending right after finishing eugene’s ending... now all i gotta do is finish lawrence’s and I’ll be done with the main story! Trying to decide if I should get the dlc or not though..

i’ve finally made it through the common route in olympia soiree and I’ll be beginning Riku’s route now. I think I’m going to do the bad endings first so I can save the good stuff for later...
