I'm sure you're all bound to have lots of questions, so below here's a brief FAQ about this new venture;
FAQ;
Q: When did this happen???
A: Netflix approached us back during the early days of episode 4's production after watching the eps progress. They wanted to congratulate us on reaching ep 3 and commenting on how rapidly we've improved and what motivated us to keep going. They kept an eye on our progress since and once they saw ep 5, they reached out in December 2025 to offer us a licensing deal for the first 5 eps. That deal was cemented in March 2026.
Q: So is this why ep 6 has taken so long?
A: Yes and No. We did have to divert Matt, Ockeroid, Rigsby and myself over to Eps 1-5 to get them up to NETFLIX's broadcast standards which took around 8-12 weeks of non-stop work. However if we didn't take the deal we'd still be in a worse place in terms of ep 6 funding and progress. Most of the licensing money went into getting ep 6 finished this year. Without it, we would be going well into 2027.
Q: Is the new intro sequence gonna be in the eps from now on???
A: Only for the Netflix versions, as they have exclusive rights to it. The regular Youtube / Patreon release will have our usual wrench glass smashy intro still.
Q: Will the Alternate language tracks come over to the Youtube Versions???
A: No, those are exclusive to Netflix.
Q: So this is just a licensing deal?
A: For now, yes! The first 5 eps will be on the NETFLIX service August 19th.
Q: What does that mean for the future? Is there a chance you'll get picked up???
A: The future is still uncertain, but it looks a lot brighter than it did before. NETFLIX allowed us to have promotions to our patreon in the end credits of each episode, something they don't usually do, so people who watch the eps on NETFLIX will have the chance to come over here and support us directly.
As for getting picked up, there is a chance, but it's all at the behest of NETFLIX if the first 5 eps do well on the service.
Q: What would going exclusive mean???
A: Basically, IF we go exclusive, NETFLIX would get exclusive rights to eps 7-10 for season one and beyond. We'd have to suspend the patreon (everything would still be available, there's just be no more updates) and fourthwall store (NETFLIX would get exclusive merch rights) and stop youtube uploads.
If they decide to cancel our exclusivity, then we're back to doing what we are currently doing; using patreon and fourthwall to fund ep production.
Q: What if they want Ep 6 as well to go exclusive???
A: In that scenario we've worked out a plain that those who have supported us financially for it's production will still get to see it on here and for Youtube Members.
Q: Would Eps 1-5 still be free to watch on Youtube?
A: Yes, the original 5 will still available to view on Youtube for freeeee, even if we go exclusive.
Q: So no more fourthwall store if you go exclusive???
A: Yup! NETFLIX gets full merch rights, though we'd get a 35% cut of all sales, so pretty much what it's like now but with someone else managing it which would be a massive load of my already extensive plate of things to do, and with NETFLIX's resources there's be so many more options for neat stuff to be made... vinyl figures for instance~?
Q: I thought you said you didn't want to go with a network / Streaming service? A: I did, but unfortunately times and minds change. We're 6 years into this production and only have (almost) 6 eps done. Our funding isn't growing, merch isn't selling that well and I'm really starting to feel my age. Potentially getting picked up exclusively by NETFLIX will get us Budgets we could only dream of doing it indie, and if it gets this series made before I turn 45, then so be it!
Q: So, when Ep 6???
A: When it's done! (Maybe late September, early October)

Even tho the semester is over I'm still exhausted and I feel so guilty for not getting back on track to the stuff I like to do.
I know no one's holding it against me, but I don't wanna seem careless or irresponsible. I'm trying to take it easy, but I'm also trying to get back on the groove of things. It's hard to be calm when things around you are still messy, y'know? I can only do so much right now, I always want to do *more*, but I do not have as much energy as I did couple months ago. It sucks...
I'm just letting my thoughts out, I'm hoping to find more help in the next therapy appt. I just don't wanna seem ungrateful for people that follow me or support me directly, I really appreciate everyone that sticks around, since I'm not a big acc nor do I focus on trendy stuff. It's just my corner of the internet here and yall decided to stay, and that's very sweet to me.

So this is not something I usually post because it involves something deeply personal about my pregnancy.
In early December we found out that our son is suffering from Congenital Diaphragmatic Hernia (CDH), where his diaphragm didn't full close. He is left with a hole in his diaphragm, allowing the organs in his abdomenal cavity to move into his chest cavity, restricting the growth of his lungs and affecting the positioning of his heart.
So far a portion of his intestines, most of his stomach, and now a portion of his liver is sitting in his chest cavity.
He'll need surgery with in days of birth to move the organs back into his abdomen and repair the diaphragm. He is expected to stay in the nicu a minimum of five weeks but could be up to 3 months or more, depending on his progress during pregnancy and how he responds and heals post surgery.
We hope to stay as much time as possible in the NICU with him during his time their.
And thats why I am posting this link today. Its hard for me to ask others for help, especially financial. It would mean the world to us if you could donate money so we can be there for our son.
Donations would go toward loss salary while staying with our son in the NICU, transportation to and from the hospital, food while staying there. Also the money would go toward things needed when we bring him home from the hospital, like the possibility for oxygen needs, feeding tubes and formula, medication, and other monitoring equipment he may need. Additionally, depending on how his hernia progresses before birth, we may need to relocate out of state and we want to be able to have that option to give him the best care.

An update on our son:
They changed his feeding tube from oral to nasal, they couldn’t get it back to the upper intestinal location so it’s going into his stomach now, which needed to happen anyway. They’ve been trialing how he does on feeds there by starting off small, they worked their way up to half of what he was getting and has been tolerating it well so far. Once on full feeds, they plan to remove his picc line.
Surgery team said they’d want him on 2L (he’s currently on 5L) of high flow oxygen before they’d attach his intestines together. Doctor thinks we can get him to that level with in a week and a half to two weeks.
During the surgery they’re going to put in a g-tube so they wouldn’t have to do it later if he needs it. So far he still hasn’t taken a bottle or anything by mouth beyond the feeding tube. We’ll still be practicing. I’ll have to ask when he’d be able to start on bottle or latch. Probably after the intestines are connected.
Doctor seems to think we could possibly get him home by my husband’s birthday in mid August. That’s something he really wants to happen so fingers crossed 🤞.
With all that being said, we’ve basically run out of the funds that were donated for daily transportation and food costs while we’re visiting our son in the nicu.
So I’d really appreciate if this could get shared again. We’d still need hopefully only enough for daily rides and meals until mid august. If you’re called or feel it in your heart to donate , please do so. It would mean the world to us to be able to continue visiting our son daily.
