It's almost upon us. Me and the boyfriend will be travelling to his family super early tomorrow.

After the rail strikes zapped one plan, then my cold turned covid and nearly cancelled the lot! Thankfully I'm now better and almost full of energy to get going! 😴 almost..

I'm back working on my #revival sweater by @hgdesignscrochet

I've adapted the pattern just a little and as im also using my own 4ply for some of it. I'm so pleased with how it's going. I did a try on last night and it looks great! Still got the ribbing and sleeves to go though!

I decided to go for more granny squares for the length as my body shape does not suit cropped in any way! I've added plenty of extra rows for the chest and shoulders to also give more length and I wanted more of the lilac in it too as she's sooo pretty. The lilac is quite a slippery one so I've also stitched it together with my colourway Orchid so that it had more strength and I know it will stay in place haha.

The main lilac colour is one from my stash but all of the others are my colourways. The weight and drape of the lilac is totally different to my 4ply and I'm loving it. Some kind of cotton mix. Its got a beautiful shine to it. Shame I have zero label and no clue where it came from! It's also on a huge plastic reel like ones you use on a knitting machine.
