Currently rewatching Season 12 - I know the prevailing opinion of Mary is negative but I like her and her “weird vibe”
What everyone seems to forget is that she was ripped from heaven by Amara - who wouldn’t be a bit distant and weird, especially if you’ve been “away” for 30 years.
Not to mention Dean is really emotionally intense, hunting is really different coz there are now angels who are ‘dicks’ - except for Dean’s “friend” Cas.
I don’t blame her for working with the BMOL coz they offer a danger free world. She just wants to make up for messing up her sons lives via Azazel and missing out on everything that followed her death.
Samantha was pretty defensive at Austin 24 while JDM was somewhat blasé about the hate. It’s pretty sad that fans can’t be self reflective about a show that they seem to love.
Yeah, season 12 is less successful than some of the other seasons but it isn’t Mary’s fault.
I’m a little reminded of Buffy and when she came back…

Just watched episode 10 of Countdown…I’m slightly miffed that there wasn’t more jeopardy involved…everything seemed to get wrapped up so easily including the brain tumour.
I obviously don’t want Mark to die…(he’s Jensen, natch) so maybe it’ll come back and amp up the romance between Mark and Amber.
Talking of which, I’m also surprised that Amber suggested she could stay the night before he started treatment…she seems to have changed her mind about him pretty quickly.
Is it me or is the sexual tension between them a bit flat…
Don’t get me wrong, I am really enjoying the show, it just seems a bit like a Chinese takeaway. You get your fill and then feel hungry 10 minutes later!

I'm assuming that Countdown is going to be a single series...or at the very least Eric and Jensen wont be in the second since the former's ALS diagnosis and the latter's character has a big old brain tumour.
I've only watched ep 1 so still reserving judgement....but its good to see Jensen in something again, and I do love the floppy hair!
Watching Let it bleed - Season 6, Episode 21
DemonLisa claims that Ben is Dean’s son then retracts it by suggesting that she’s such a slut that even Lisa didn’t know who Ben’s father was.
I don’t think Lisa was a slut but I do think she had a self esteem issue or two!! Even so…
Dean is not Ben’s father…the evidence
1. Kripke has said so… #WordOfGod
2. Lisa said so at least twice
3. The angels never chose Ben to be a vessel for Michael.
I don’t think Dean thinks he’s Ben’s father either. I think, as Jensen has said about Dean’s relationship with Lisa (he was in love with the idea of being in love with her) Dean was thus, in love with the idea of being a dad.
He wanted the ‘apple pie life’ or, at least Sam suggested that, after he jumped into the pit, he should go live an apple pie life with Lisa and Ben. So he was honouring his brother’s wishes as well as fulfilling his own desire for some normality…
Basically Dean and Lisa’s year together was two pretty dysfunctional people trying hard to make it work.

The finale was one of the better episodes of this season’s Dr Who…but I do have a question or two! Primarily, has the mavity vs gravity issue been forgotten/sorted or is it Billie’s problem now…just like Mrs Flood.
I hope Disney does decide to part ways with the BBC, its involvement has changed the tone and not for the better.
RTD clearly needs to expand his friend group or consider a bigger group of actors, though. Seems a bit incestuous for the Doctor to choose a face of a companion who is already living with her own version of the Doctor… wonder if Ten (or other Tennant Doctors) will meet 16!
And now we wait til Christmas…

I'm sitting here planning to go to Vancouver or Nashville 2026 coz I'm going to be wiped out by CR10 - after having practically bankrupting myself going to Austin in 2024 and I know that there are people going to practically every Supernatural event that Creation puts on...
I need to find myself a sugar daddy, benefit from an unexpected inheritance...or maybe I should visit a crossroads and speak to a demon!
