Microsoft is certainly doing their damnedest to ensure resistance to having AI on one's Windows device is futile, but apparently they tied it into Edge such that disabling Edge also kills Copilot and Cortana, so like, I am delighted to take the three-for-one special!
(go find where Edge lives—it's gonna be in one of the Program Files folders a couple levels deep and you'll need administrative access—and rename the Edge-specific folders, it doesn't really matter what to but it's simplest if you just stick 'Disabled' at the front of the folder name. and then Windows won't know where to find the files anymore but, unlike fucking with the registry, you have done nothing you cannot easily undo. Windows Update might put fresh copies of the folders later, but if so you just delete the existing disabled versions and then disable the new ones as above.)
Y'know, I'm kinda surprised I haven't seen Jack Chains more in fantasy tbh, like it's a really interesting and low budget armor style, I'm legit surprised I've almost never seen it in media
Actually kind of! It's built with a very interesting principle behind it and I'm gonna explain it below because it's neat
So, say you've got a sword or axe or something and are fighting some guy who can't afford a full suit of armor, and like someone who thinks it's a good idea to protect their brain from harm, they go into battle with a real good helmet, but don't have enough money for a full breastplate
So, obviously, this guy's helmet is solid, well-built, and strong. You're absolutely not getting through that with anything short of a mace or warhammer, which you forgot at home or something. So, you want to instead throw some cuts at their torso and arms, since if you can't get at their brain or throat, the entire torso is a pretty good target, and without arms your opponent will have a much harder time both hitting you with their weapons and shielding that torso of theirs
So you start throwing cuts, probably like so, since these are usually the most common, instinctive, and usually efficient cuts to throw (or a rough MS Paint approximation of them lol)
Normally, on someone unarmored, those'd do a lot of damage! You'd probably even win the fight!
However, with even something as small as these weird little guys on, it just sort of...
Obviously these things are like, clearly less effective than most styles of armor, doing little to protect against things like thrusts or trebuchets, but even with as minimal as they are, the humble Jack Chains are bizarrely more effective than one would think just by looking at them!
They work because they close off the most common angles of attack, essentially trying to get the maximum value out of minimum materials. Despite their rarity in media they were pretty common, mostly because of their low cost, but also because they did their jobs surprisingly adequately

If we’re on the topic of low budget armour, cardiophylax, more common in the ancient era, worked on a similar principle. Basically just a metal sheet or disc strapped to your chest to block thrusts to your lungs or heart, since your shield would catch any slashes. Though you’d really want to use a large shield or mobility as primary defences.
Here’s a replica of an Iberian (Spain + Portugal) example, though they were also used by early Roman infantry, usually the poorer Hastati, as well as Samnites and Etruscans.
So canonically the game's low poly style is what v1 actually sees because it doesn't render its surroundings in high quality to save energy or whatever.
And I'm imagining a situation in which Gabriel learns this and is like "wait, so things look totally different to you? What do you see when you look at me? Not that it's important. I'm above such concerns as how others veiw my physical form, of course"
And V1 spits out a Polaroid style picture and hands it to him and he's like
"....oh my god I look so fucking ugly "
"Are you shitting me? This is what I look like to you? I'm like five polygons oh my God I look like a doom enemy"
And he has to be consoled for ten minutes.
(to be clear I think Gabriel is very handsome and I think actually in canon Gabriel actually wouldn't really care what he looks like to V1 very much, I just find this idea hilarious)
Mate cannibalism is generally rare in spiders anyway (black widows don't even do that in the wild!) but many spiders will still kind of chase the male away after, but these are so relaxed, the males and females and even whole generations of young might just keep hanging out in the same web.
It's probably because all the territorialism of most female spiders is due to the number of other spider species who hunt them. These however are simply too big for that to be a worry I guess!
There's even species of tiny flies that live on these big females like cleaner shrimp. She'll open her jaws and let the flies clean them without hurting them
