Heyo I'm back! Same mod as our-autospec-experience but I uh. Lost my account connected to that one :/ I absolutely love this community so I wanted to try to come back. Hope everyone can find me aha

Summary:

This is a safe space for all autospecs! Autoromantic, autosexual, autoplatonic, etc! Around here we believe everyone should be included, you don't have to be aspec to be autospec, do whatever you want forever with your own labels, and self love and healing are rad <3

Feel free to submit asks about your questions, favorite things about being autospec, etc! We love hearing from you <3 This blog is about the community, not just the guy running it :p

The rules are simple, nothing nsfw in asks please, and keep discourse and exclusion out of asks and reblogs <3 As stated before this blog is very Inclusionist, we believe 1. Anyone can be autospec 2. All systems are valid 3. All nonhumans are valid 4. All queer labels are valid, even if unconventional or contradictory (what do you think 'queer' means?)

Heyo everyone! Unfortunately this is probably not what you want to hear, but it does need to be said.

I'm planning to leave Tumblr for quite a few reasons, if you care about the reasons you can check my personal blog, doesn't seem appropriate to talk about here. This blog won't be deleted, it'll still exist for you to interact with even when I'm gone.

With that, I just want to say I absolutely adore this community, the people who encouraged me and were so kind, anyone who interacted even if only once. Your autospec journey is beautiful and worth being listened to, and I'm glad that for a while I could give you community and a voice.

It's your turn now. If there's some kind of community or blog or anything that you want to exist, I invite you to try making it yourself. There is no special quality you need to have or some standard to achieve, you can just be yourself and someone who cares about your community and wants to have fun.

I recently discovered autosexual as a term and it's genuinely been so freeing!! I didn't know that was a real option. Thank you very much for running this blog, reading your posts has been very uplifting :^D !!

I was also quite surprised (in a positive way) how the autospec community on here has treated NPD. As a narcissist I'm very grateful!! It's very refreshing ❤️ So thank you for that as well!! Small things like that can help a great deal

I might I might be autospec and I wanna learn a bit more about it but I have a question

Is it possible to be at least partially autospec/ in a relationship with yourself as a coping mechanism? Because I think that's what's up with me

Sure! You can be autospec for any reason, disordered or no.

I think of it the same as it applies to asexual. Some people are ace because of trauma entirely, for some trauma plays a part but isn't everything, for some it affects their identity at some times and not others.

I believe being autospec has the same kind of nuance, and there's no right or wrong way to be autospec or self partner. Any proper part of the community will accept you no matter what <3

Just make sure you're taking care of yourself and doing what's best. If it's helping you cope and causes no harm to yourself or others, I think that's something to be proud of <3 Learning to deal with tough situations with healthy coping mechanisms is an important skill and strength

honestly I've seen someone call amasui/selfcest a fetish and gotten weirded out cuz amasui can be completely platonic or romantic it does not have to be sexual in any way... sigh TT

That's so fucking weird what? It's not even inherently sexual in nature like autosexual, it was literally just "you love yourself" or "you feel attraction to yourself " or something like that, don't remember the exact term
