Script

Opening

Extreme wide shot-zoom into Window

A storm is outside and we can hear yelling as we slowly zoom into the scene.

Medium wide shot

Jess and Matt finish their fight just as the storm finishes and Jess storms out.

Over the shoulder wide shot through window

You see her roll away in the taxi from the window where Matt is.

looks at the wall on it there is a picture of the two in focus. refocus to see the clock.

Matt decides he must get her back.

As he rushes out the door, he accidentally knocked over a glass and smashed on the floor. Pressed for time he leaves it and was out the door.

He goes to get the elevator but its out of service so he decides to take the stairs.

In his rush he takes a misstep and tumbles down the stairs. Shot from outside

(yelling each time he hits)

Finally at the bottom he grunts and shakes it off and continues outside. His first step is into some dog poop. As he tries to clean it of he slips and falls on his butt...right into the poop. Looking at the time he has no option but to push forth, filthy and putrid.

As Matt hailed a taxi, another car had passed him and splashed him with the puddle. Now he was soaked, head to toe. Although Matt was soaked and dirty, he would not allow this stop him. He climbed in the taxi and was on his way to the airport.

While in the taxi waiting for traffic to move, a swarm of mosquitoes come in and attack him.

MATT

(to taxi guy) Hey! Please! Put the windows up!

The taxi driver is distracted with his music to realize the turmoil Matt is going through

Finally at the airport, Matt rolls our finally getting rid of the mosquitoes. The taxi driver rolls away and Matt realized that the taxi dropped him off at the wrong terminal.

Even more frustrated, he quickly decided to run to the opposite end.

Security 1

Halt! Ticket please.

MATT

Ticket? i just need to get through to win back my girlfriend.

SECURITY 1

No ticket. No entry.

sees line for tickets, runs to the front of the line:

Off screen: Hey no skipping.

MATT

(sternly) Ill put poop on you

Off screen: Never mind

I need a ticket for the next flight out.

Lady

MATT

(Shocked) There's nothing cheaper?

LADY

do you want the ticket or not

Defeated he ends up paying a ridiculous amount. With his ticket in hand the steadily goes through the line when its his turn to pass

SECURITY 1

flag! You're selected for extra security

Full shot

he is selected for the extra security check.

MATT

(annoyingly checking time) is this gonna take long?

The guard notes this as suspicious then the guard has a revelation,

Security 2

we've got a 23-18, repeat 23-18.

MATT

 (aggressively) what does that mean

At that point Matt is tackled by the officer off screen.

Goes to black.

INTERROGATION

Matt groggily wakes up in an interrogation room with the guard, another guard came in to the room with a file.

MATT

(groggily) wha-what happened?

The guards closed the door,

SECURITY 1

you probably think you're pretty smart not getting caught all these years... but we have you now. If you confess everything, it might be easier for you

MATT

(confused) What? what are you talking about?

SECURITY 2

Fine play it that way.

SECURITY 1

it doesn't matter if you confess or not we have you either way.

They pulled out a piece of paper and showed him a wanted poster that looked similar but not really.

(Angrily) That's not me!

Because of the hostility from Matt, the other guard pulled out a Taser and shocked him. As Matt collapsed on the floor, the guards step outside to discuss about Matt being the man on the wanted poster.

Off screen: mumble and grumble

Matt recovered quickly and noticed that the door was open.

Quietly he crawled out and started to sneak away until the guards noticed

(Off screen) Hey get back here!

Matt started running to the terminal. Being scorched, bitten, smelly and dirty, Matt was finally at his destination.

MATT

Jess!

He calls to her on his knees and she turns with a face of disgust. She walks over to him.

Oh Jess im so sor-

She  slaps him

JESS

(furious) Why did you have to show up? I'm TIRED of being with you. i left for a reason. Reason being i dont want to be with a pitiful man like you. I mean look at you and not to mention you pooped your pants. Gross i wouldn't want to be with someone like you. you will never be a real man. Its over for sure. I've met someone that is a real man.

Motioning to the guy had strutted into the frame. Matt looked to the guy who put her arm around Jess.

It was the guy that was on the wanted poster. he smirks.

After a fight with his girlfriend, a man races to the airport to try and salvage their relationship, but instead loses her forever

THE PREDICAMENT

As a storm finished. Jess and Matt finish their fight and Jess storms out. You see her roll away in the taxi. Matt ponders whether or not to go after her and decides he must.

               As he was walking to the door, he accidentally knocked over a glass and smashed on the floor. The guard notes this as suspicious then the guard has a revelation, and walkies her partner saying we’ve got a 23-18, repeat 23-18. Matt asks what does that mean and starts to seem aggressive. at that point Matt is tackled by the officer off screen. Goes to black.

               Matt wakes up in an interrogation room with the guard, another guard came in to the room with a file. Immediately after the guards closed the door, the guards demand that he confessed. Confused and scared, Matt asked what are they talking about. The guard that was holding the file, “It doesn't matter if you confess or not we have you either way” They pulled out a piece of paper and showed him a wanted poster that looked similar but not really.                Being scorched, bitten, smelly and dirty, Mat was almost at his destination. As he neared the gate, he saw her there like an angel, he wonders why he ever let her go. He calls to her on his knees and she turns with a face of disgust. She started to berate him about everything wrong about him, not to mention the state he was in. After her rant, she told him that it was for sure over between them, this was the final nail in the coffin. She told him that she met a real man and that guy had strutted into the frame. Matt looked up to the guy who put her arm around Jess and was shocked to see who she was talking about. It was the guy that was on the wanted poster. As she walked away with the wanted man, the two guards quickly tackled Matt down into submission. cut to black.

Summary

On a sunny morning in a dark room, a professor was issuing assignments to his tired students. The assignment was very big one. It was break into groups and make an animated short for the class. Four students agreed to come together and make the most amazing story ever. They decided to talk about the project over some breakfast. As they make their way to the cafe, they come up with different ideas on how this story should play out. As the sat down and ordered their meals, the perfect idea for a story came up. After an epic montage of the students working through the project, everything was set and ready for the presentation, which was due in a few days. The last day before the assignment was due, one of the students was looking at assignment to make sure everything was set for tomorrow. When he checked the files, it was empty. He calls all the other members to tell them about the missing project and wonder where it was. With no idea on where the project was, everyone was really freaking out and there was no time to make a new one. On the day that the assignment was due, a dark cloud was hanging over everyone. When they sat down and logged onto their computers, one of the members remembered they had backed up the files. When they checked, there was on the project, all ready to be delivered. With a sigh of relief, they wondered who to blame. They turn to the fourth wall and blame the current group members that made this animation.
