Leon and Claire
After going through TWO zombie outbreaks in a row, losing Steve, and travelling half way across the world, what do Chris and Claire do straight after getting home? Rest? Of course not! They go SHOPPING! xD
‘Mind that attitude, miss.’
That was something he certainly wasn’t about to become accustom to; gun or no gun… though no sooner had such a thought intruded, it was replaced by a slight relief. ‘Miss’ might flash around her armaments, but she clearly wasn’t trigger happy ~not the way those that Rufus kept in company… tended to be.
Though, this auburn haired young woman seemed to tend towards truth; there had been it. He may have let a longer than necessary pause linger after her words, though there was no discord in the blonde’s tone.
“I’m afraid I can’t help you ~on either count,”
A pharmaceutical company; Umbrella. Never heard of it. As for where they were— ”Your guess is as good as mine.” Though judging by both the shambles of the surrounding area and the fact that his newest acquaintance seemed to be of the opinion that weapons were a necessity… “Though I dare-say …you seem to know more than I do, as it were.”
.. Drawing a weapon didn't call for instant retaliation, just enough to intimidate and get her answers. True, it never worked a hundred percent, but it was always a good way to initiate some conversation. Guns didn't seem like the most likeliest thing to use in this world but.. she hoped it was worth the effort anyway.
Claire holstered her gun back, eyes narrowing at the pristine-donned individual that stood before her. "Hm." A soft sigh escaped her before she attempted to gather her words -- hopefully a very short, precise explanation would prove useful in this sort of.. acquaintance.
"Umbrella's the largest pharmaceutical company... they're.. experimenting on people, creating viral weaponry. Using the earth as its shell for whatever reasons they feel like keeping... or rather, holding. And using." Eyes lowering to scale the ground, she eventually collected her composure and gave a slight smile. "I'm supposing you don't have the same intention... do you?"
"So I haven't popped in to say hi..."
‘Accepted with hospitality’… An accurate idiom – since, when had those said ‘suited men’ ever been looked upon with generosity that hadn’t been forced, in any case? Hospitality was as synthetic as anything else, in trade.
Still, this was unfamiliar territory.
Money was still the “currency of the realm” regardless of locality, and a man finely dressed – and interrupted by not only an unfamiliar and unforeseen female voice was… more than likely to have a weapon aimed at him. A turn-about provided information, as much-
‘Ah, quite…’
Though—
—Umbrella?
“I’m sorry-?” Flat tone, but slightly more courteous tone of voice~ well, there was a gun involved here… and a woman who didn’t look hesitant to use it.
"Yes. Umbrella."
She had to repeat the query. Deaf or what? 'Course, some room for social courtesy was still at hand, lest she'd suffer a smack to the head and end up one of the infected on the floor. Money or no money, survival was all that mattered now--and perhaps this guy knew more than she did about the ethics of such an idea.
There was truth in his eyes when he fired back a pardon. Claire retained the grip on her gun, but held it at her side after a moment, letting her expression relax soon enough. "...It's a pharmaceutical company." Letting eyes graze upon rugged structures, an auburn brow rose. "...Which reminds me, where are we exactly?"

...This doesn't look too promising.
Another suited man. Terra Save was all for protecting the earth and sparing survivors, taking them to a safe haven, but these guys didn't seem so 'typical'--at least not from Umbrella. He looked rugged, no necktie or anything; red hair, a bit of the ponytail there and an EMR at his side. No one in the world--at least in her world--dressed like that or even kept a stun rod as such. Finding it somewhat safe but still grasping her gun, Claire approached him, but a little kinder than usually.
"...S'cuse me, are you from Umbrella or are you infected?"

... There's an air of diffidence before the incendiary impact, a sanft vibrato of wariness and worry about Umbrella lurking in the shadows. Suited men weren't that much accepted with hospitality anymore in the world, or at least that was what she reckoned from everything that'd happened since Umbrella inflicted damage, with a single, cellular blob. It was hard to trust any of them nowadays--if they weren't an NGO, they were working at Umbrella, and if not Umbrella, then Tricell.
Now, a man in a white suit was alarming to Claire--if he wasn't exacerbating the worldly situation then he probably was just a passerby. But that was the 'lucky' part of it; the 'unlucky' side, if it ever was, was that he was part of the megawatt pharmaceutical company hell-bent on sneaking their viral havoc upon millions.
He seemed to be stoic enough for now, so Claire held her gun sternly, and just as she was wary of anyone dressed so formally, aimed it at the back of his head.
"You're from Umbrella?"

“It’s just as nice to meet you, I’m Tifa.”
"Tifa?.. Sounds just about right; it's a pretty name too." Claire reckoned it was short for the name 'Tiffany', but either way it was just as proper. She held out a hand for courtesy, a short smile on her face, and hoped she would shake it in earnest. "I'm scouting the area for survivors too. But.. I think I'm not exactly in the place I think I am." Surveying the area, Claire's brows creased in worry. "...Can I ask, where am I? This doesn't seem to be any of the cities I know of..."

Being part of an NGO certainly had some emotions to deal with--one of which was 'concern'. The fact that she'd survived Raccoon City's demise and now worked to help people.. Tricell's influence was spreading. The next Umbrella, perhaps? Or just an extension of the conglomerate? Either way, Claire was worried; fancy armor and innocent eyes greeting her, she rushed to them to make sure they were okay.
"Hey! You guys alright?"

“…Sora. Just a wandering soul. I’m assuming ‘Terra Save’ is an organization?”
"Yup! We try to battle it out with Umbrella, at least wage the war quietly somehow. The match-up with Tricell isn't helping, but we're hoping to get out there and save as much as we can. ...Nice to meet you, by the way. Glad to see you aren't infected at all..."
Definitely a change from everything riddled with death around her.

A genial wave plus a slight smile always equate to a budding friendship. "Hey guys. Nice meeting you!"
"Who the are you" Alice said with a forcefull demand
"Might have to backfire the question to you, ma'am." Just common courtesy, really; but the female seemed to pose a hostile... demeanor. Still, it wouldn't hurt to smile, right?..
"I'm guessing you have a name?"
...Generally, Claire wasn't one to lag on social duties; being part of Terra Save was a privilege, and more often than not a big responsibility. Not to mention, being part of an NGO didn't really require so much pay--luckily they still had support from other conglomerates that actually opposed against Umbrella. Since her survival at Raccoon City, it was pretty hard to imagine a life not changed by the spur of zombies...I mean, really: scarce rations, constant absconding from all things viral? Had to be routine more than 'busy'.
Taking a break from the usual with coffee was a reward she normally hadn't gotten the chance to take nowadays; thankfully the rain today seemed to call for that. Seated at a booth in a cheap but actually cozy coffee shop, Claire pondered on the compensations of being a survivor, and an NGO exclusive.
