Walking around Barcelona. A mix of old and new-ish architecture.

Chasing sunrise at La Playa Barceloneta. As a NOT morning person, this is a miracle for me. My friend and I woke up at 6am and walked 17 minutes from our flat to catch the sunrise. It wasn't for nought as it was absolutely beautiful.

My friend is doing a DIY project which needed a nice, sizeable frame. The weather decided to be nice today so we went around Dorking High Street perusing their charity shops, hoping to find said frame. After 4 shops, we finally secured it! Notice the second photo, my friend is carrying it with her.

Hallstatt is one of the prettiest places I've been to. It's a small village in Austria with a tiny population of approximately 700. I visited towards the end of winter, early spring so the snow caps have melted but there's traces of snow on the mountains. The water is normally still and quiet but it was very windy on the day hence the waves.

It is a lovely village with plenty of history. It's a long travel from Vienna but so worth it. 10/10 will recommend!

Hi, my name is Kate and these are my outtakes.

I bought a point-and-shoot camera off of Ebay for the nostalgia. Then I opened my tumblr account - again for the nostalgia.

Today, I went for a walk around the neighbourhood and took this camera with me. Here's one of the photos I took. It's a little off-center but who cares? I also decided to take a short-cut that I only ever took once. You see, I have the worst sense of direction. I didn't even find said shortcut and took a wrong turn, of what seemed like a very muddy field. I saw people and their dogs walking around. The dogs seemed happy, and the owners were smart enough to wear wellies.

I found my way out eventually, took a bit longer, but I managed. 10/10 will do it again next weekend. Less mud hopefully!
