ughhh fine *experiences emotional growth*
Me when there's a monday after sunday again:
not to be a dirty commie or anything but i don't think any one person should have enough money to solve world hunger and then get to decide not to
I wrote a novel. it's too personal to be published. but I wrote it. seven versions. 320 pages, interesting enough that I read it sometimes for fun. And 20 query letter rejections with 20 more floating unanswered. I'll take it as a sign to keep my secrets. But I wrote something, and if I do say so myself, it was almost good.
The people in the notes who’re insulting OP don’t understand introversion and feel offended by somebody suggesting being alone could be more interesting than being in their company.
When you’re comfortable with yourself and your solitude, people can’t talk you into breaking your boundaries or lowering your standards with the threat of being alone, because it just doesn’t bother you
It wouldn’t surprise me if that’s precisely what made people upset at this post, realizing not everyone is threatened by loneliness and they wouldn’t keep them in their lives out of fear of being alone
This is what happens when you spend 760 billion dollars on your defence budget and only a fraction of that on state funded education
I’m. Oh. My God.
I keep seeing this passed around as if it’s genuine, but the first account is 3YearLetterman, a parody account of a youth football coach who is way too confident and inserts himself into political discussions all the time
Case in point, this is the “governor” he’s responding to in the original tweet:
This entire thread is almost certainly intended to be a joke. Stop clutching your pearls about people purposefully acting stupid on the internet
The problem is there’s enough idiots around that this isn’t anywhere near obvious or clear sarcasm. People purposely acting dumb and people expressing themselves often have the same take

idk if the date this was posted on makes it funnier or sadder
Someone check on him
he’s doing just fine
I wonder what quarantine pregnancy rates are like
Economists predict a baby bust, not boom, in the coming year, and that's bad for all of us
I think this is another case of, the “traditional middle class families” are not making more babies and/or putting there plans on hold.
All the accident babies are still coming

LPT: Don't throw your junk mail away. Use it to to help the USPS instead!
Next time you get a credit card offer in the mail, or a junk piece of mail that includes a prepaid envelope or postcard, don't throw it away! Send the envelope back with a blank sheet of paper inside, or don't fill the postcard out, but still send it back. The company that sent it to you had to pay the USPS for postage on each one they get back. This is a way to support the USPS by doing very little, and sticking it to the annoying companies that want all of your money.
In the 90s we would send companies “hate mail” by stuffing prepaid envelopes with things like ‘blanks’ (flat heavy metal pieces), a roofing shingle) and layers of other competitors’ mail or junk news. This is because the company would have to pay more upon recieving the junk mail. It eats into them. It actually somewhat reduced our junk mail returnables, I think. Send that mail y’all.
