hello sweet lizzy <3 !!!

Poor Isaac!!!! I feel like he’s in a pickle without it even *really* being his fault! Ok, so for Emma, I keep feeling like she’s not Isaac’s biggest fan. Ok, so Emma is police and nice and would be very much so toward Isaac, but I think she has the same approach as others: How can a doctor not know how to practice medicine? Though, even as she thinks this, I think she then reminds herself there were no sick people - ever. So can she really hold it against him?

Idk, part of me thinks Emma feels like Isaac is weird, but like would never say it?? LOL sorry

No, that totally makes sense!!! And honestly is that the worst part is that Isaac doesn’t think of himself as a bad doctor?? Even though he’s horrible @ it, but then he’s never really been tested either and I do think he’s gonna come ot terms w/ the fact that he has no idea what he’s doing soon and that’s gonna mess w/ his head but ANYWAY he’s just a huge fan of tradition and loves the way things are and always have been and like this is the way they do things here, and he’s never questioned any of it. And like he’s the town doctor and that’s that and ... #fail

ANYWAY, I don’t think that Isaac would pick up on that tbh and probably thinks that they are friends #facepalm. (tbh Isaac is weird, she’s not wrong ;D) I also think he thinks that Emma is hugely traditional b/c she’s on the council and taking her sister’s seat and he’s pleased w/ this and I think he largely misreads Emma and thinks that they are really similar when they aren’t at all, really

But like, actually, I think besides all the witch stuff, these two would be such bffs. Like if Issac gave her some veggies from his garden she’d make like some zucchini bread and bring it back to him and would have tea and zucchini bread with him and idk talk about the latest book he’s read?

I also feel tho that it’s like “here they go again” when the witches stuff comes up because it’s like Issac being all: “THEY DEF DIED SUPERNATURALLY. I AM A DOCTOR, I KNOW THESE THINGS.”

and then Elizabeth is like: “But how can you prove it was witches? What, with all your medical expertise, can you tell me ACTUALLY ended their lives? And how did it have ANYTHING to do with magic?” and like patiently waiting for him to dig himself into a further hole.

But ofc as soon as the council is disbanded she’d turn to Issac like: “so, are we still on for bake sale prep on Thursday???” Like literally leaves all problems/issues at the door. <3

HE’S SUCH A MESS. 

LADJFLAJFLjlajdsflajslfa AHHHHH!!!! BUT I LOVE THAT SO MUCH! (and so does isaac tbh). Like giving things from his garden to town members and have them bake him things using it is literally his fav thing in the world!!!! He loves this little town but he especially loves when ppl are all neighborly, etc. etc. 

hahahah, but then cue Isaac kinda fumbling over himself b/c he really isn’t a great doctor tbh and just ends up making martin freeman speechless noises and kinda half shaking his head and like “it’s complicated, but this definitely wasn’t natural” by way of explanation and basically proving elizabeth’s point w/o meaning to that he is jon snow and he knows nothing. 

BUT I totally agree that they would only fight/disagree during council meetings and even if elizabeth makes isaac look like a total idiot (which is probably v likely b/c lol @ isaac who is kinda  helping her along w/ that) he’s totally willing for things to just go back to the way they were before and I feel like he’s really good w/ leaving his council ~emotions/feelings~ at the door, too, so yes! excellent. :D

I feel like Isaac is distrustful of outsiders who come into town, but ESPECIALLy when they land a seat on the council ... so I feel like he doesn’t like or trust Elias at all, haha. I feel like he’s always outwardly courteous and respectful of the Warrens, but I feel like Elias can probably also tell that Isaac isn’t fond of them b/c Isaac isn’t really as good at hiding his emotions as he thinks he is, haha.

tbh isaac probably didn’t appreciate robbie up and leaving town (like wHY) especially when he had a council seat to fill, but he’s SO happy that he’s back now especially since he has some experience in this kind of thing (i mean, not as much as an actual witch hunter but def more than say, isaac himself, haha). anyway, isaac is very paranoid about the witches and he’s def supporting robbie’s move to wipe them all out.

hi, pippa!!!! it’s lizzy! idk if you remember me or not, but we rped on xanga a few times before :) 

Anyway, Isaac and Thomas are both members of the council, so they’d definitely know each other! I do think that Isaac was probably kinda suspicious of Thomas before b/c like “where did you come from?!??! who were your parents??? how come we don’t really know you!?!?!?” and idk isaac can def be paranoid sometimes, haha. BUT I think that Isaac will really get behind him when it’s revealed that he’s pro-witch hunt. (Also if he’s published other books before, Isaac could potentially have become a fan of those, depending what they’ve been about?? idk he’s a huge reader so he’s probably read them, at least.)

Okay, so these two are Walcott’s medical professionals, haha! I mean, Emma is a vet but I feel like she actually knows more about medicine than Isaac does (#facepalm) since people don’t really get sick here and Isaac basically just sits in his office and deals w/ minor things, while animals do get sick/hurt and tbh people would probably be better off going to see Emma, haha. 

I think that Isaac would admire Emma, though, especially since she’s kept her council seat (although if he knew the real reasons she’s on the council he’d be less pleased but anyway). I think that Isaac definitely values tradition and likes to have things go on as they always have, so he doesn’t understand why Mary abandoned her council seat (like why mary why) I mean, I don’t think he’d voice any of this to Mary, b/c ~family~ but basically my point is that he’d be happy that Emma decided to remain on the council, even though her sister is like #bye

OKAY, so these two would know each other from the town council. tbh I feel like they probably have always gotten along, but I think that the witch thing has probably caused some tension b/c Isaac is like THERE ARE DEF WITCHES AMONG US WHAT ARE YOU SAYING!?!?!? Also, when Elizabeth is convinced that they died of natural causes, Isaac is like “they definitely did not i am a doctor i know what i’m talking about” (tbh he really doesn’t thanks to his v informal medical education but anyway)

Hiya, co-worker/boss!  ;DDDDD  So Isaac’s the doctor and Rose is the nurse and I’m really sorry bc I feel like her bedside manner is probs atrocious and tbh ppl probs just will themselves not to get sick around here to avoid dealing with her eyerolls jk jk  Ok, so Rose is…weird hahaha  She’s actually got a heart of gold but she’s got a reputation as an ice queen bc she’s a combo of too frank and OCD that make her seem really mean and unapproachable but she’s actually not once you get through that crust and I’m just????? sorry????? about her??????  But yeah, Isaac gets to deal with that all day long #yay  I mean, depending on how well they know each other, it might not matter but he at least has to deal with the kids she probs makes cry (and then probs gets annoyed that they’re crying and smh) *praying hands emojis*

HAHAHAH, omg! I feel like Isaac is just facepalming and running interference on her behalf all the time and tbh he was probably SO STRESSED when she first came to work for him, b/c this is not how things should be! And tbh Isaac is kinda hard to work with in that he has all these v organized systems and there are two ways to do things a) the isaac way and b) the wrong way haha. ALSo I think they are both kinda OCD and depending on what about/how they like to do things, they could have also clashed there, hahaha. 

But anyway, idk how long that Rose and Isaac have been working together? I guess that’s really up to you, b/c Isaac has probs been doing this longer than Rose. I do think that it was disastrous at the beginning and tbh Isaac was like “this isn’t working out, but i don’t have it in me to fire her, so hopefully she’ll just quit” but they eventually learned to work together/became friends (although I still think that they probably get frustrated w/ each other about certain things like GDI ROSE STAY AWAY FROM THE KIDS, PLEASE) but it works better now?? (unless you think that Rose has just started and that they are still in the early phases of their relationship??) Anyway, thoughts???

probably not an ideal person to be a doctor tbh

while his bedside manner is excellent that’s pretty much all he has going for him

he’s never had much work and while he does well w/ all the minor stuff, that’s about as far as his expertise goes

tbh isaac probably should just be a school nurse

but anyway

also he doesn’t do so well around large quantities of blood 

like if you’ve got a scrape that needs to be stitched up he’s fine

but if you got shot or something and were bleeding out on his table, he’d probably faint

obviously the way they pass down jobs here always works ;DD

isaac is a perfectionist

he’s also super clean and neat and organized

the annoying person who won’t be able to think about anything else UNTIL THAT TINY DUST BUNNY IS SWEPT UP

his office is SO sterile 

and his house is very neat and tidy

but also has a coziness to it

isaac’s ideal day is curled up by the fire with a book and a cup of tea

likes to be very scheduled and doesn’t do well with spur of the moment plans

gets very bent out of shape about that kind of thing tbh

wants walcott to remain the peaceful town that it’s always been

and if that means smoking out the witches however they can, so be it

he wants it to be as over as soon as possible tho tbh

his hella paranoid about the witches tbh and closes up the office early some nights so he can be home b/f dark

is serious most of the time but then he can randomly have these bursts where he’s got this mischievous humor idk he’s weird

loves comfort food

likes when it’s chilly outside (not that he wants to spend time outside but rather he likes to be inside where it’s warm when it’s cold out) 

has basically read his way through the library tbh

he’d much rather experience things through books than have real life experiences tbh

likes his comfort zone

has a garden which he tends regularly 

grows lots of vegetables and shares them with his neighbors

tbh sam is one of his favorite talking points and he will probably talk your ear off about him

It has always seemed strange that the people Walcott never seem to get sick. Even watching his father sit idly by as patients never grew ill, Isaac wondered why they needed a doctor at all. The boy was trained by his father to become the Walcott doctor. Like so many before him, he didn’t attend medical school or even leave Walcott, for that matter. His father taught him everything he needed to know just as had been the case for generations. As a result, Isaac has never truly practiced medicine a day in his life – until now. With the deaths of the two townsmen, most believe it was Dr. Eaton’s job to save them. He has now begun to face ridicule for his failures. As for witches, Isaac wholly believes they’re real. As a prominent member of the council, he would do anything to rid the town of their forces in hopes that his practice will go back to the way it was before all of this began.
