Is it going to be an art only zine? Because I think it would be great if it also had some written pieces in it 🐢

As everyone on the team is an artist, our zine is mostly going to feature comics (20+ pages) and some illustrations, the former of which includes both adaptations of James Roberts’ prose and our own original scripts. So yes, while this will be an art-only zine, you can still expect to see some writing in it.

Q — Because it's invite only, will there be any smaller tf artists seen in it? - via Retrospring

A — Thank you for the question! This zine is run by a small group of friends, and most of us are relatively new to the Transformers franchise. As such, we would like to clarify that "invite-only" means that we are not accepting any contributors regardless of their following, however we may invite some of our other friends to come aboard.

We understand that this is disappointing news to the amazing artists and writers who have expressed interest in participating in the zine. We've been continually in awe of everyone's skills, and we're very honored to hear that others want to join in! We're very sorry that we do not have the capacity to moderate a large zine at this time. While we cannot promise that we will be running more zines after this (public or otherwise), many of us have had MTMTE cemented as a new long-term interest of ours. We can't wait to make new friends in the community and to share our art with everyone, both inside and outside of the zine!
