aaron keller staring into the camera and going "moving forward, we're dropping the "2" " is both the funniest thing but also the correct move and i respect them for it because while continuing to carry forward with the worst possible decision made by shareholders who wanted to scrub bad PR by artificially generating hype and also sell more product which backfired Immediately would be the thing everyone expects, fully acknowledging that that was a dumb fucking move and saying "enough of that" is actually the right move, even if coming too late for anyone to care.

the funniest thing to come out of Overwatch League was in 2020 when, during a streamed match, Lastro typed "sex" and "big dick" into match chat between rounds, unaware that the match chat was visible to the stream audience

but the part that kills me every time is this response from OBSWinston:

OBSWinston is the name of the Blizzard-employed "camera" operator assigned to spectate the Winston players so the stream can cut to their perspective as needed. him saying "????" is basically the equivalent of hearing the cameraman say "what the fuck" during a live show

i'm still dead bro, i just think it's funny to pull out the good ol' overwatchleaguesigns blog to say the most random things and also because every time i think i'm feeling removed from overwatch they pull some shit to get me back in. and so here we are.

i guess i can take this opportunity to say i have not been paying attention to OWCS at all. i did see wolf and achilios casting for the japanese games the other day so that was kinda cool, but other than that i know nothing. anything worth checking out?
