I want NEED to write project Hail Mary fanfiction but my stupid fucking EPQ is taking all my writing power and it's PISSING ME OFF !!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I need a coltland au not a 5000 word academic essay comparing brutalist and victorian architecture in terms of English housing, complete with citations and a source analysis table !!!!! and it's so bad because at my max power I can only crack out 600-700 words per day like boi i'm on a deadline here I need you at 3500 by Friday and its currently at...... ohhhhh almost 2000 great great great this is just fantastic

make vld characters more disabled in fics 2025 campaign. more than one of them are definitely hard of hearing after so many explosions and gunshots. give one of them a limp from a bone that healed incorrectly for a while before they got to a healing pod. scars and burns that limit someone’s mobility. show how some have to deal repeated long surgeries after they get to earth to improve some of those things. dealing with chronic pain, eyesight loss in at least one eye, not all 10 fingers at least! there is just no way they could get out of all of that the exact same they got there. show how some things have good days and bad days and others pile up to being just another part of their routine. above all: make them deal with change. the war changed them in too many ways to count and left them with much more than just haunting memories.

give them fucking history, things to show for what they went through. being defenders of the universe doesn’t make them immune. at the end of the day they are too made of muscle and flesh and bone.

CAN WE START A HEALING POD HATE CLUB I HATE THEM SO MUCH!!! and i despise how fic writers (im a writer myself) never think about the mental issues that would come from being a literal teenager thrown into an intergalactic war with the fate of the universe relying on your actions. not even a little bit of PTSD? not even a little bit of trauma? why are they so fine and dandy all the time?? “where the apple falls” by europa_report on ao3 does a really nice job of showcasing their issues and that’s one of the reasons the characters in that fic seem so three-dimensional. they’re SURVIVORS OF WAR!!!! GIVE THEM HISTORY!!!
