Overheard in a Garden, Oliver Herford
Mugler FW97
I am. Sigh.
Realizing the Great Work here may soon begin again. Ah! The stories of the gods are long in the telling!
I'll keep my notes here for awhile again.
At any rate, reluctant as I have been to revere the Form of the Goddess in Triplicate, her presence is no longer deniable. The softness of her Venn Diagramatic form - her light shining through many panes of Divinity's stained glass windows. To hell with the Triple Goddess of Wicca - this Goddess predates the sour taste the name puts in my mouth by thousands of years.
I am realizing this very well may be in my blood - in fact, I'd be a fool to pretend otherwise.
My namesake is from her fields, my ancestors from her homeland, my Grandmother bears her name and her daughters -
My Three Aunts,
Diana for her Mother, Melissa, and Cynthia. Good Roman Catholics of the Aquino Province -
And still! They could not escape what they were made up of.
Epithets of the Goddess, all of them. and each of my Aunts as much Cursed with the Family Disease as I am.
I suppose it was merely A Matter of Timing.
shout out to all my middle school weird girls who grew up and are still weird but are no longer girls
