It was still a shock to Anya that she had even been accepted to Toronto University,. something about it seemed to scream at her, this still wasn’t the place for her, even after all her dedication and hard work to prove that she was worth something, her mind knew she was in fact wrong for this place. College wasn’t the plan for Anya anymore, she knew this, with only a few short months, she would be showing, that it would be a pointless battle to try to be a mother she knew she wasn’t as well as a college student. Her greatest fears had come, and now she had another one, motherhood. The hallways lingered with busy students, figuring out the way to their classes, all stuck to their campus maps, the only worry was how they were going to keep their gpa high, yet Anya took in the detail of the school that seemed to be her dream now, a dream that was only out of reach. She told little that she was finally accepted into college, the army being a bust of unfilled dreams, even now if she wanted to run off again, she knew she couldn’t, at least not until she fixed her growing problem. This wasn’t her plan, it never was, but it seemed Anya only continued to fall off track from the others, everyone else was different, yet Anya seemed so aloof to the idea that she could be different from them.
Her mother had offered to wander the halls with her, yet Anya chose to figure out everything herself. She had to figure it all out in the end anyways. She wish she could blame the nauseous feeling from the simple fact of cold feet, yet that wasn’t even the full case. “english 101, A13″ she said under her breath, as she only found herself lost, as she flipped her map upside down, confused on the matter. Looking around, she was unsure where she had even started. “Um.” she spoke a little louder, still communicating to herself, as she continued to walk forward, until she placed her campus map against the brick wall, as she ran her fingers against the thick papered map. She was truly lost.
