That feeling when you finish watching a show and you don't know what to do with your life
Mob Psycho season 2 episode 7 fucked me up
reblog if ur mom is smart and beautiful
This is one of my favorite sites on here because everyone who reblogged it truly believes it because their moms wonât actually see it
Am I about to cry because I'm going back to my home country for the first time in a while or am I about to cry because I'm reading a romance manga with so much respect and proper communication between the characters that it makes my heart ache
The day before I turned 20, I went skiing for the first time. A friend was supposed to teach us how to do it but didn't. I fell a million times just trying to go down one slope and ended up alone. It felt terrible, each fall taking what felt like at least 10 minutes to get back up. Finally, I couldn't take it anymore, dragging myself to the side, taking off most of my equipment and just sitting down. Watching the other people there, thinking to myself, trying to see how to do something I had been just thrown into, I ended up crying. I messaged my parents, but it was the day I realised that all I've ever wanted from them was to take my feelings and my pain as their eldest child, especially as their eldest child seriously. It wasn't long before I realised nobody was coming to save me. I cried, nobody really noticed, or if they did, they didn't do anything. I felt better afterwards actually. Letting all the pain out, sorting through my emotions, drinking a bit of water and giving my legs enough time to stop shaking from the mere thought of continuing and inevitably, falling actually helped. Gave me the strength to continue, even though I did fall at least another 3 times before reaching the bottom and having to walk the last part down carrying the skis(which were heavy as hell, heavier than I would have ever expected honestly). I guess the point of this story is that no matter what happens, if it ever gets too scary or too frustrating or too overwhelming, you can always just stop for a while and cry about it, it's okay. You might even feel the will to continue on after.

That feeling when you cry so much that your eyes are just swollen, you're kinda dehydrated and your jaw just kinda hurts. Yeah.

that daughterhood feeling of wanting to blame your mother for how you turned out, wanting to be angry at her for how youâve inherited her pain and her insecurities, but at the same time wanting to keep coming home to her, out of everyone else in the universe, because you know that if thereâs anyone who might be anything like youâif thereâs anyone who might even have a clue of what itâs like to be youâit could only be her. and no matter how many times youâve hurt each other, no matter how difficult it might be to get her to truly see you, you still just want her to love you as you are, to tell you that this isnât your fault, and to show you that she would keep letting you come home to her.

â§âËâàŒâ§âË.
everything everywhere all at once is about intergenerational trauma. about depression and passive suicidality and the gravitational appeal of nothingness. about aging, getting older in your twenties and getting older in your fifties. about the specific hurt mothers can cause their daughters and daughters their mothers. about the harsh reality of the immigrant experience and the american dream. but itâs mostly about kindness and family and itâs about choosing to sit at home talking about taxes with someone who loves you, and itâs about telling your daughter that youâd choose her over the entire universe, and itâs about how even in the universes where life didnât form, love can still exist. and itâs really all of that at once.
Everything everywhere all at once is a film about a girl ripping the entire universe apart just to find a part of her mother that she feels understands her. And everything everywhere all at once is a film about a mother ripping the entire universe apart just to understand her daughter. And my chest feels like itâs caving in when I think about it too long
