My past posts were written with malice. Why my recent tag reminder post is far more ānicerā in comparison to the rest of my posts is because I have been gradually improving on my behavior and thought process, all throughout the entire duration of times Iāve posted on this blog.
To be honest, most of my posts are emotionally driven. This blog is emotionally driven. Quite frankly, I donāt think I want to keep acting out. If I want people to actually hear me out, I canāt keep pissing people off with every post š¤¦ Iāve learnt from my older posts now.

with this i also ask what you have filtered so authors can be mindful to use the correct tags
Well itās nice to see weāve all sort of gained new perspectives in this. I have taken some of your guys words into consideration and I think I can say Iāve reflected on my behaviorism and opinions throughout these past few weeks.
For the filtering,, with reader itās just the usual āx <ex> readerā but in different formats. If youāre writing for a fandom use āfandom name x <ex> readerā, just inserting tags that involve the type of reader youāre going for.
For example; gender neutral reader, x gn reader, x gender neutral reader, x gn!reader, gn y/n. Those are all variations of the same tag! The concept itself is simple. Even the character x reader tag!!
Adding the gender/type of reader in the tags is already good, itās not supposed to be really complex!!
Since Iāve filtered out fem reader, this is what my filtered tags look like. Thereās more tags but thatās just the general basis. I am into Genshin so Iāve blocked the fandom variations too.
So yeah. Apologies if this isnāt explained right or lacking in detail. I wanted to respond as quickly as possible but given itās 5am, this is going to look rushed š
For any other tags, I donāt think variations are needed. If you write smut just use the nsfw/smut tag and include the āextrasā you believe will be most prevalent. Ex; kinks, tws, etcetera.
No hate but x readers started off as a female demographic on tumblr and thatās why most writers here donāt tag their fics as fem reader on this format because itās automatically assumed that the reader is female. I recommend switching to/going on Ao3 because the writers there take their tagging more seriously and you can filter out the fem reader tags on there a lot better. When I found this out it saved me a ton.
Yeah! It took me awhile to actually realize the circumstance with the x reader stuff on every fanfiction site. I have been on Ao3, itās actually one of the sites I frequent. Ao3 has the most detailed filter out there imo, esp compared to Tumblrs filter š

I donāt like being seen or described as feminine > I filter out fem tags / fem reader > I get hit with an untagged fic > I block the writer > it happens again and again and I keep blocking the writer > I get fed up.

I always thought that the whole point of gender neutral blogs were for the character of "reader" (or y/n) to just be the reader, including their gender. If it's a masc person reading reader is a he, if it's a fem reader reading then reader is a she, if a non-binary reader is reading then reader is a they. I mean, the character is literally called "reader" or "y/n", reader just the reader, gender included. What's the point of having "reader" if it's not just the reader? Then you'd come up with an everyman and surrogate for the reader instead. The reason masc/fem people do this is because they're projecting onto reader (or y/n), gender and all. That's not a bug, that's a feature

Hating anyone whoās afab and a writer just because some ignorant people donāt tag fics is genuinely the worst excuse Iāve ever seen. Itās not that big a deal. What, did the scary fem!reader fics reach through the screen and bite you or something? A lot of afab readers tag their fics, a lot of non afab readers donāt tag their fics, the x reader niche has way bigger problems with tagging than not tagging the gender of the reader. But I guess none of that matters because god forbid you go five seconds without showing your obvious bias.
Honestly, stop pretending youāre doing this in good faith and actually trying to help. Youāre doing it to get on peopleās nerves. Your spam posts are vague and donāt actually tell people what you want them to tag, youāre a massive hypocrite, and you respond hatefully to anyone who doesnāt suck your dick. Im on ur side with this. Not properly tagging your works is rlly annoying but why do you focus on female!reader and female writers sm? Ik u said it was for all writers but ur always talking about female writers.
I donāt like female writers. As aggressive as I may sound or be with the concept of fem!reader, I donāt hate them. I hate the writers only. While I am afab, I donāt align with being feminine. It makes me upset to see that the majority of writers who donāt tag their work are female writers, which in turn makes me favor the gender neutral and male writers. Iāve blocked fem!reader, Iāve blocked female reader, Iāve filtered out every x fem reader. Yet every-time itās a female writer who manages to avoid using the tags!!!
So while I dislike feminine stuff especially female reader in x reader posts, itās mainly the misuse of tags that make me hate it.
In the end, itās all just a personal issue for me and presumably many others. I do however apologize to all fem people who follow with my posts, you guys arenāt the problem. Itās your writers, the ones who have the expectancy that every one of their readers is fem.
I see so many people complaining about my posts.. wonder why the block button is there. If I have to deal with blocking people EVERY DAY so can yāall.
