My mum and I went to Madeira for a week in January. It’s been almost 3 years since the last time I was in Madeira and although this time wasn’t really a holiday we still managed to do some walks and enjoy the sunshine.

Let’s talk postcards! I love postcards, whether it’s travel, quotes, pictures or seasonal postcards. I don’t think I’ve ever sent one but I have received 1 or 2 when I was little, (I know it’s bad, don’t judge haha ). I use to only buy travel postcards to keep as memories, However at work we sell some pretty cool motivational and funny ones which I thought would be nice to write a little message on the back and give to my friends & family now and then and of course to keep for myself.

Hope you’ve all had a relaxing weekend! Let talk …

As a child as soon as the weather was hot in the UK (which is barely ever), we’d plan a trip to the seaside usually Brighton but on some occasions we’d go to margate or portsmouth. We’d plan what time we’d be leaving the house which generally was about 8 am, pack our bags, make picnic food and everything else you would do when you’re spending a whole day 2 hours away from home which as a kid seemed like forever away. Now whenever I feel like it, Katie and Ijump in the car and drive 40 minutes down the motorway to Brighton, I love it!

We seem to have a tradition going, whenever we decided to go to the UK seaside it’s always really windy, raining or both. Our first date was at Eastbourne, it was so windy our hair was all over the place we named the picture Chewbacca! haha

Thursday – still windy, still Chewbacca 

On Thursday we decided to go to Brighton for a date day. It wasn’t raining but the waves were crashing and it was really windy! I forgot to bring my camera so the pictures aren’t the best but I used Katie’s Iphone 7+ to take these pictures.
