One of Australia’s only punk fundraiser festivals Total Attack is coming up this May, this 4 day beaut will be Brisbane’s 6th Total Attack and will have over 40 Australian bands and 2 international bands play. You can purchase weekend passes which grant your access to all shows over the weekend at the NMG Records webpage. Total Attack will take place on the 6th-8th of May over two venues, one of which is 18+, the festival is presented by NGM Records, 4ZZZ and Coopers with all proceeds going to the Asylum Seeker Resource Centre (ASRC) down in Melbourne. Frame 313 are a two piece bass and drum power violence band/bickering old couple, strongly influenced by Water Torture, Man Is The Bastard and Iron Lung. On their days off they are full-time Star Wars nerds that argue constantly about who is the hottest Sith Lord.

Anime Girls are a noise rock band playing in the style of Flipper, SQRM and Rectal Hygienics. Hey fam, it’s been a few weeks… Apologies on my behalf, I’ve been very slack keeping everyone updated about events, new releases, etc. Here’s a recap of the past few weeks: - Space Bong played Crowbar (Brisbane) to kick off their Australian/South East Asia tour - Coffin Birth, Pleasure Symbols, Black Deity and X in O at The Bearded Lady on November 6 as a fundraiser show for Women’s House, BRISSC and SHELTA (The show was a great success and a fucking banger.) - Captain Cleanoff’s “Raising Terror” tour in celebration of their album (Raising terror). The tour is almost over but there are a few shows left, check out dates here and make it to whatever you can, while you can.
