“Democrats are out of power.”
“What’s that moving in the basement?”
“Believing you’re wise--and being so dumb!”
I have a very clear memory of learning to play this on a recorder in music class in the 4th grade. Some kids sang. Some kids strummed tiny guitars. I remember being frustrated at how many times we had to play it, and how horrible it always sounded. It was less than an hour of my life nearly 30 years ago, but I harbor no resentment to the kid who made a choice for the rest of us.
