( THREETIGERBLESSING ) :
Threo was trying out that “responsibility” thing she’d been thinking about, using her strength to help people and all that. She still felt like she understood almost nothing about the city as a whole, but she knew two things for certain: One, she was extremely strong, and two, some people might need an extremely strong person’s help at times.
The small group she’d been following didn’t smell like they had good intentions, and her gut was proven right when she saw them corner someone with brilliant red hair and an armful of cats.
“Hey, hold on! Three against one isn’t fair!” she said, charging into their midst. It was easy to shove them all aside, a show of force before she even bothered to draw her weapon.
“You’re right, it was close!” she said, taking the cat even as she stared down the gathered thugs. “But this w- this won’t… be…” She trailed off, realizing she was now holding a cat, which meowed up at her as she stared down at it. For a moment, Threo’s train of thought, which was generally only adjacent to any tracks, was now fully off the rails.
Frowning, she unsheathed her massive axe, still keeping the cat under her arm. “Just get outta here before I crush you.” That was apparently enough, as the other trio fled the scene before she could say anything more.
Threo picked the cat up, staring it in the eyes before shooting the red-haired person a big grin. “You’re welcome! I’m just doing my responsibility, or however it goes. I just thought you might need help! They didn’t hurt you, did they?”
There was one other thing bothering her, though. “And where’d you get all these cats from?” she said, dropping one at her feet.
✦ ⋮ ❛ There was something endearing about the way her voice trailed off after her eyes landed on the little creature in her arms. Despite being part of a situation that was unfavorable for them, Padpara couldn’t help but giggle a little. It became even more adorable when she unsheathed her weapon while still holding the cat. How cute.
They naturally responded to their grin with a warm and friendly smile of their own. “You’re not used to handling responsibility huh?” It was quite easy to tell. “But I did need help and you did your job splendidly... Don’t worry. I’m perfectly fine.” Well, that was debatable because of their constitution but she didn’t need to know that.
“Oh! That’s right!” Glancing at the feline in their arms, they lowered them on the ground before pulling out a bag of the food animals liked. They immediately grew excited at the sight of it. “I’ve been working on getting the cats around here to like me by giving them food. Now they come as soon as they see me.” Offering the package to the stranger, Padpara smiled at them. “Would you like to feed them today?”
